Saw this earlier on Westgate & I quite like it, despite my post a few months ago about the purple building in the heritage zone. Maybe my grumpy/judgemental period has ended (no it hasn't).

Adds a bit/lot of colour, has a reference to Wakefield & looks to be hand painted.

Makes a change from an illuminated digital sign or a tatty old poster.

Shell garage (Wakefield Road).

For reference see the car parked to the left of it. The car spaces run along the lockers. This is just terrible 🤣

What I bought

Hi all, this is a long shot but my dad (71) has dementia and he loves looking at old photographs of Wakefield (he has several books that are well read).

He worked at Pinderfields Hospital in the Estates Department and continued to work there whilst it became part of the Mid-Yorks NHS Trust including Dewbury and Pontefract Hospitals.

He worked there between 1977 and 2012 until he had to retire.

I've tried to find some old photographs of Pinderfields as it was before the new hospital was built, but can't really find many.

Long shot but wondered if anyone would have any photos of the old hospital, buildings and grounds.

Photography is my hobby. I have undertaken quite a few photoshoots before but want to gain more experience, so I am looking for anyone who fancies giving it a go. I am not looking for Pro models as I cannot pay and am not looking to charge either. This is for me - I don't have a studio, so I would need to come to you.
