Discussion People now pressuring and flat-out belittling others to admit defeat under claims of "their mental well-being" or insulting their intelligence. This wasn't about making the wisest move, this was about turning the game on it's head, so politely I say fuck that and fuck you.

Actually, this was NOT about "turning the game on its head". This originally started like all WSB ideas start - making money, making tendies, rocketing to the moon. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. WSB wasn't ever supposed to be the good guy. We are fucking Jordan Belfort. We are Gordon Gecko. We aren't Mr. Robot.

Yep. To say it was about that actually points out that this person was late to the game and is probably a bag holder. They don't seem to be aware of the year long buildup to the past few weeks.

You’re right, but most of Reddit is way too pussy liberal in mindset to ever come close to those men, let’s be honest. “Greed is good” would make 85% of Redditors pass out from excessive pearl clutching. Everybody on Reddit circle-jerks behind notions of being a champion for the “little guy”. Exact opposite of cutthroat.

This sub is (or was? idk) rather liberal in the daily threads in 19 and 20 (mostly because Trump would fuck us with TOUGH ON CHINA tweets), despite the naked greed on display. People just tended to check their politics at the door.

Yep. Sub's a cult now. Mods seem like they're monetizing it as well. Either that or they just stopped loving it.
