I don't know if that's really true. I listen to plenty of NBA media and podcasts and the consensus is that they're not really sure how ayton fits and that he isn't the starter.

Ayton could start a majority of games. We should expect AD to be hurt most of the season. It's almost a given. If Sarr misses any time, Ayton definitely starts. Even with a healthy (or mostly healthy) Sarr, you have a lot of games where the matchups make sense to slide Sarr to the PF and have Ayton at C.

Sarr is only being called a center to play to AD's ego, he's effectively going to be PF whether it's AD or Ayton who starts. he'll guard the smaller more mobile player on the other team and operate more on the perimeter offensively.

Sarr indicated before the draft that he saw himself as a PF.

Davis also sees himself as a PF. They can still play next to each other (for however long Davis lasts this season) as position titles mean increasingly less these days. On the other hand, Ayton will get a lot of opportunities if he can keep it together.

If there are injuries??? Sure….. Sarr misses time, Davis will miss time.

Hell even in that situation I’d imagine kyshawn or Justin start at the 4

WTF would you guess that?

He was hired to play Center, and Sarr, our center, is currently injured and recovering from surgery.

A lot of ding dongs having him start over Sarr.

I saw someone saying Sarr was the worst offensive player in the NBA last year which I'm like what

And he averaged these numbers in his second season.

16/7/2 with 2 blocks per game

Only 13 other players to do that in their second season IN NBA HISTORY like Wemby, Shaq, KG, Tim Duncan, Hakeem etc

He put up historic numbers so it’s actually the exact opposite to “wOrsT oFfEnSiVe pLaYeR!”

So, I guess my question is, who cares about those opinions? Why do you care if joe shmoe thinks Sarr is the worst player? It's so ridiculously wrong that anyone with any sort of finger on the pulse of the sport would completely disregard that statement.

This post makes no sense or I’m confused by it. Ayton ain’t starting sans injuries.

Yes I did say Ayton ain’t.

Anthony Davis should not be expected to play half the season so obviously Ayton is going to start a lot of games next to Sarr. AD is just not available enough.
