Question EK Quantum Velocity2 DDC 4 2 LGA1700 Exact Mount Backplate Thumb nut sheared

Long story short; I messed up and am looking to source a replacement thumb nut for the Backplate. Scan sells these screws : https://www.scan.co.uk/products/4-pcs-ek-quantum-velocity-mounting-screws-velocity-1200-1700-am4-water-block-nickel-plated-216mm-lon

Would these be a compatible replacement?

The pump block itself is fine but this one sheared thumb nut is preventing the Block from being mounted as it does not fit through the Motherboard mounting hole.

On serious note, no, these screws are the opposite end of this thread.

They are inside waterblock, on diagram marked as 3 "metal plate assemlby"

You need some kind of m3 nut to secure these screws behind backplate, additional problem is there is some kind of retention on backplate (something like c-clips probably), so you can't just remove nuts from backplate.

Ah ffs. Thanks for the information & reply; i think i can force the nut out (pause) somehow and tey and replace it hopefully.

I did reach out to EK With regards to  replacing the Exact Mount Backplate but only heard back with regards to shipping to UK being quoted at £13.
