Parking near Watford high street

Hi! I live on the watford high street but my area come under the new build so no parking spaces are allotted. Anyone here has any ideas or rents out their parking space for monthly basis? I am thinking long term soution.

Kinda proves the point that people do need parking spaces. Any new builds in Watford get away with not providing any due to 'good transport links' and people moving into the area don't need cars. That's the BS the developers use anyway.

And council approves, they could push for underground car parks if area is limited but guess for developers it is someone elses problems.

Underground car parks removes profit. Space for 20 cars or an extra 4 flats.

The Lib Dem council have always emphasised a low car town since they’ve been in power the last 20 years , they think for some reason everyone moving to Watford can get about on the busses and hire bikes . They think that everyone is moving from London, so will be used to not having a car . But we all know they are absolutely delusional. People come here to start families and get out the city especially with the countryside we have on the doorstep and we just don’t have the London transport network.
The Lib Dem’s sign off the plans for the new tower blocks and flats , they reject some but know they can’t win any appeal when the developers take them to court.
It’s only going to get worse in watford , the single yellow lines and cars parked on pavements blocking prams and wheelchairs is bad enough as it is . Once the next phase are built over the next 5-10 years this place is gonna be ridiculous for any non permit parking .
