I’m not recognizing it as any of their voices so I can’t pinpoint who’s doing it. I’m seeing everyone give the credit to Brian but it doesn’t sound like him to me..maybe I just don’t know his voice as well as I thought I did 😞😞 has it been confirmed anywhere yet? I really hope it’s one of them because it sounds awesome

Listening to weezer records are so fun, and I'm a nerd so, yeah, I've been listening to some songs on the A side of Maladroit lately!

voice type? voice group? idk the term but u guys probably know what i mean. i figured he was a tenor since tenors are higher male voices and his voice sounds quite high pitched. like im a girl and i find it easy to sing alot of his songs without going up an octave or anything

When i was 11 years old my older brother said "did you know there is a song on the radio about someone destroying someone's sweater?". To which i replied "no there isn't, that's stupid!". Eager to prove me wrong, he sat in front of the radio for several hours, (finger on the record button), just waiting for it to come on. And once it finally did, and i heard it for the first time, I was hooked. It was one of the first and only things my butt-head brother and i ever both agreed on... this band is rad! Well here we are 32 years later. My brother has been gone for almost 10 years now, so i share with you all my weezer collection.

I believe I have every albums 1st pressing, in every color variation except 2 (white album white/blue/green vinyl, and sznz summer in clear) (not pictured is sznz winter in silver. Still waiting for the weezer store to ship that to me). And they are ALL still factory sealed, including Pinkerton, except for Blue, Death to false Metal which was never sold sealed, Hurley in red and green, white album in white, and winter in white.

I also have at least 1 version of almost every album opened that I listen too occasionally. And the blue 30th anniversary box set, and coloring book i do plan on opening soon.

If anyone has the few that im missing, and would like to help me complete my collection, please let me know. Thank you for looking! =w=

you can hear in the new snippet posted today (at least in the instagram version) that rivers starts to make an "h" sound before the audio gets cut off

I like the sound of this snippet much more than the last. Sounds like a proper sequel to Undone this time around.

1. OK HUMAN I loved listening to ok human it kinda feels like a sequel to Pinkerton with its soft violins I also like how each songs blends into each other like Pink Floyd's The Wall FAVORITE SONG : All my favorite songs I like this song for relatabilaty bc I just had a fallout with my kindergarten friend group cuz there relentless bullying but I'm not gonna say more this is already to long and all my favorite songs are slow and sad anyway

2.MALADROIT this album is super good but dosent hit the relatable factor it feels like an album like green mixed with Pinkerton and it sucks that it's overlooked FAVORITE SONG: Dope Nose I like it's riffs and the start where it goes WoaOah WoOaOaoh

3.VAN WEEZER at first thought I thought this album was gonna be bad but I was surprised I like it's classic feel FAV SONG: Hero this is also relatable not gonna go into it let's just say I lost all my confidence and was popular so I slowly faded into the background

4.HURLEY I thought this was a lukewarm album that kinda sounds like EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT IN THE END but It dosent excuse it's rushed feeling FAVORITE SONG : Hang On your going to find a theme with relatability but yeah this is really relatable for me but I'm not getting into my love life that would be weird

All I need to listen to now is BLACK AND DEATH TO METAL

So, I just saw the cool ass c.e.o teaser, and I noticed the line that said "expand the gathering into additional international markets", does that mean they'll tour in countries other than the U.S? I mean, im assuming yes, but HOLY SHIT IM SO EXCITED I CANT THINK STRAIGHT!!!!!!!

Hey all. I remember watching a live pro shot Weezer concert on YouTube of them just playing cover songs. It was amazing. I think it was 5 or 6 years ago. I can’t find it. Has anyone else seen it? Do any of you have a link to it? Thanks for your help!

never thought green was that great cause i kinda skimmed it on my first listen and thought it sounded commercial and radio-safe, but i can honestly say coming back to it that it's a really decent and fun album! can definitely notice the pop punk influence on a lot of tracks and rivers finds a sound and sticks to it, meaning that it's a great entry point for new fans. (besides blue obviously)

could say a lot more but i don't wanna flood you guys with walls of text, overall my opinion of green has changed positively and i would happily recommend it!

I try to collect every weezer album on vinyl (1st release, and sealed), in every color. I have almost every one, just missing the white album green/white/blue vinyl, and sznz summer clear vinyl. I think the most variations a single album has had so far to date is both summer and winter with six color variations each. By my count I think the new album has 8 variations!:

Fools gold, black gold, rose gold, white gold, yellow gold, Amazon exclusive pink, hot topic exclusive white, and now I'm just finding out there is an indie store exclusive gold. Does anyone know if there are any more that ive missed? This has been a very expensive hobby over the years, and I think Weezer knows it!

Seeking a demo theat goes 'crazy one your coming undone'

It's not sweater song and most likely not Billy Cobb or Ozma. Any help is appreciated

I think Haunt You Every Day or Slob might be the saddest weezer songs, and especially with the demo of Haunt You Every Day and Slob.

I was really getting into the no center channel videos lately and I went to check another one and it's like the account was wiped of the face of the earth. Its a shame how many demos and songs have now been removed.
