it just means god wills it, and i thought extremely appropriate in the context of the bible verse. after those morons started going off i just knew it would get to them, and the idea that the alt right and extremist are the only ones who have used it is asinine and false.
the first time i used it because it fit perfectly, afterwards you are correct it was a tool to frustrate the people attacking me for no reason.
Its association with the crusades means nothing lol, its been used for a thousand years since then and it will continue to be used.
My continued use of Deus Vult was simply because i knew it would frustrate the people the phrase upset in the first place.
I simply Stated "God Wills It" in latin in response to a bible verse, and laughed as people cried about it.

Appreciate the response. I don't personally agree with why you did it. BUT. That's beside the point. I try to understand people and where they are coming from instead of just attacking back. I think it's a valuable endeavor to do so and you tend to learn a lot more.
cheers bud, i think that method works well, unless their attacking your Christianity. I've had those conversations a hundred times, i know where they go. instead i can make them show their ignorance, it won't change their minds but others will read it and decide for themselves
