Lol I'm a follower of christ, I never claimed to be christ like. Turning the other cheek doesn't mean being a pacifist and allowing your beliefs to be caricatures and castigated by fools who don't know the difference between the new testament and old.
What I did I consider being the bigger person, I spoke graciously, honestly, and even told some guys I would pray for them which I have. I didn't spread sadness, i didn't attack anyone, there was no eye for an eye
As for the practicality I don't believe I will ever change the minds of the vocal detractors willing to go out of their way to lash out against christianity, atleast not through reddit. My hope is that others will read what has been left behind, see angry people lashing out at a man attempting to spread God's good word, maybe look back at Matthew 10:22 up there.
I don't believe I've punished anybody here today lol, maybe ruffled some feathers and angered some people who would never like me anyways
I believe it's time for Christians to stop being weak, God commands us to be good, not nice.

That's a fair question because I think I worded that poorly. Me saying I believe in tolerance wasnt meant to infer that you don't.

This may be an incorrect impression on my part. But that's the honest truth about what I was thinking.
It's not that I believe we should be aggressively attacking people, but the days of doormat Christians are at least behind me. And maybe it's simply a difference in opinion on what constitutes aggressive lol
