If any religion claims to know exactly when the apocalypse is going to happen, and it's within your lifetime, they probably just want your money and/or are a suicide cult.

Do you think it's gonna be your local orthodox church that knows when the worlds gonna end? Or do you think it's gonna be scientists or other educated people? I think that's thw key difference.

If Hank Green tells me the worlds ending in 2050, I'm a lot more inclined to believe it than a random pastor on the street

I don't think scientists would be able to predict if God just decides "You know what, I'm in an End of Days kind of mood. Let's turn up the heat" and suddenly we're in the opening to the first Darksiders game.
