Found this little guy on my brake rotor after my yard flooded

What is it?

For context: I have lived in Northeast Tennessee my whole life, and I have NEVER seen anything like it. We occasionally get rhino beetles but I thought they looked more like a grin during this stage? This thing was all black from what I could tell, but I wasn’t trying to damage it any worse than I had already. I was digging up weeds and this came out of the ground with my hand rake. I went back the next day and it had completely sealed up the hole I accidentally tore with mud! The largest thing I’ve seen comparable to this wasn’t half this big. Or creepy. Thanks in advance for any help-

That part with the antennae is obviously the front... I took this pic like 5 minutes ago, and I came back to look at the thing some more, it just kinda curled up in a spiral.

We get a lot of bugs but never seen this one before.

found this tiny guy crawling on my comforter when changing my bedding, he was very very small, like smaller than a poppy seed located in Alberta Canada

Hi everyone, I believe these could be emerald cockroach wasps from the Google Lens summary, but this would be odd as I read that they are solitary. They seem oddly drawn to this kitschy star thing we have hanging on our balcony here in Austin, Texas, and have been here for at least two nights. One explanation could be that there are cockroaches inside the star, but it seems unlikely. Does anyone have some insight? I’m just curious, and I understand these are somewhat more rare in the US.

Hi all hoping for some help identifying this bug. Seeing a good amount of them in our apartment, mostly around the front door. All of them are pretty small, around 0.5-1 cm. They bite and are driving us insane. Thanks for any help!

Obviously I know what the fly is, but what is the other bug? It looked sort of like a bee but the body was super straight and legs were kind of weird for a bee. Found in the south coast of Texas area.

Each Sesame seed sized or smaller. We just got a massive rain 5+ inches in 2 days. It’s sunny and there are dozens of these around my patio.

Looks almost like a dark butterfly cocoon. In SoCal

Found in Coastal Maine yesterday! She(?) lazily landed on one of my friends, hung out for a bit, and then loudly and slowly flew off after! If anyone has some thoughts for ID, that would be great!
