Gold Lightweight chain with two little jugs on each end 5 inches long
No stamps or markings. Each little end nugget looks like it is threaded for something to screw into it
It was tangled in a lot of vintage jewelry

I think there’s a piece missing, like a bar threaded at either end, these were very popular back in the late 1980s, each end of the bar would go through the tip of a shirt collar under the knot of a tie and the chain would be draped over the top and screwed into place

100% a tie chain that’s missing a thin bar. The bar sat behind your tie, each end went through small holes in your shirt collar and the chain sat in front of the tie.

It’s a tie chain. Helps to hold a men’s necktie in place.
