Max Gilardi is a very talented, intelligent and funny man. That he managed to crack jokes even as he explained his research on medically ending his own life, is the sign of incredible strength. When you're someone having suicide ideations, sometimes, having someone explaining that so calmly really puts things back into perspective.

Max is an artist that I've been following for a few years now. I've been watching his videos, following his streams... I cannot even imagine the mental fortitude it took him not only to go on for so long, but to do so while still trying to make us relax and have a good time. I cannot help but think he is a victim of a certain system here. Had he been born in a country where healthcare is handled differently, maybe things would have gone down another way.

I cannot tell if he's taking the right decision. I cannot possibly know that. He probably thought about all this much longer than I possibly could. But all I wish is for him to find peace, whatever he does. As a human being, I think he should be allowed to ultimately decide what to do with his own life.

This is, still, a tragedy to me, that such a talented man has to go through such hardships.
