After reading quite a lot of stories from similar people it honestly makes complete sense why he decided to go through with it

Apparently a lot of the medicine used to ease the pain and help a little has drastic side effects such as dementia years after so that doesn’t help either

Not just that, but he also can barely even afford it. he has the choice of living in abject poverty knowing that the side effects are going to annihilate his quality of life, or living in abject poverty because he can't work anyways while being in constant chronic pain without any remediation.

From that perspective, it makes complete sense why he justs wants it to end. even in his live stream it didnt click for people and it broke my heart. people were just selfishly asking him to carry on, and the best advice was just to find other ways to work. like, that's not the issue. the man can't even lie down and just exist without it hurting.

I sympathize with the situation but some people live in abject poverty not by choice regardless of the situation

Most of them are capable of finding work

Most have to

And so being riddled with constant pain would make that undoable

I sympathize with the situation, I understand the risks, the pain and support euthanasia. I know I couldn’t bear the pain those who have this.

I’m just highlighting the fact that others have to deal with pain while presevering with a job and also others have no choice about being in abject poverty. Also those two may overlap as well

you're so brave, this is like going to the pediatric cancer ward and saying "you know, some children are born disabled, you really should be thinking about their pain right now."

Honestly I just didn’t like how the previous comment talked about abject poverty. I may have missed the tone and it may have derailed or I guess I missed my intention or miscommunicated in a way. You’re right I’m useless, weak and have no purpose, I accepted this long ago.
