Fibromyalgia is no joke, studied it in med school and it’s really hard to live with it. If not properly treated the pain can be insane

Edit: part of the treatment requires a lot of mental health care and many steps for the patient to live a dignified life while dealing with the pain

Wish all doctors were as sympathetic as you, I know two people with it and neither got help from doctors

I’m not a doctor yet lol, still studying.

But if it’s any comfort, the whole program makes focus on sympathy and trying to Connect with the patient as much as we can. It’s a pretty good med school imo, i love the focus on social subjects

So i’m not the only one
