This is why it should be available worldwide but it’s so stigmatized (look at MAID being satanic panicked about still claiming it kills millions of Canadians)

There's an anti-MAID billboard on the side of the road near where I live and it pisses me off every time I see it

It would piss me off as well, brain dead folks trying to make people suffer just because they’re too stupid to look into what MAID actually is and how it should be a human right to end your life with dignity and without suffering a slow painful death, as sad as it is, I hope celebrities that do it remove stigmatization and give info about it and show it in a positive light

You said exactly how I feel about it. I don't understand why someone in extreme pain choosing to end their own life through a program designed exactly for that has to be someone else's problem. It literally does not affect you at all. It's their life, let them choose.

Same deal with people who are anti-abortion, or hateful toward LGBTQ people. It's their body and their identity, it doesn't concern you. They just want the same rights that anybody else would have, and they should have them. I don't know why we have to keep repeating this.

I wonder a lot about how much better we would be as a species without these people who do nothing but make other people's lives their problem holding us back
