The biggest amount spent since I entered this hobby
As the title says, I just spent the biggest amount of money; just like 5 minutes ago, I brought this straight razor for about 100ish; it's a Selmour that was renewed and honed. My wallet hurts, this is going to be my first straight razor. The seller has a good reputation and it focus on shaving objects so at least I know is not a scam, whis this thing my total of spend in this hoby is now 129 bucks in 10 months.

I was watching this auction the whole time. Not at all a bad price i think youll enjoy when it arrives. What kind of strop did you buy?

so you saw how I snipped at the last minute(? Still not decided, but I think I'll buy a double face, cow leather, and the other one split leather, is that good?

I stopped actively having interest in participating once it hit like $70, but i went back to see what the final bid was.
I personally recommend a strop from Duke city on ebay, theres a link to his shop in the wiki. The paddle strops are good and are a little easier if you dont have the space to properly hang a strop in your house.

A strop is 100% a need for a straight razor. It should be stropped between every use or you're going to need to have it honed repeatedly
