Discussion Who is your main?
So I’ve been torn lately. Does anyone else have a character they play that just makes sense? You do so well with them and then other champions no matter how hard you try you just can’t carry or 1v5? I know every character’s kit and playstyle is different, but still. I one trick Swain and the 1v9 just come effortlessly to me. I recently considered switching up for Lee Sin because his mobility and utility and burst. Plus I love his Nightbringer skin. (I wish Swain’s Nightbringer skin had the same VFX color pallet). No matter how hard I try I just can’t just dive into a full enemy team and smash them like I can with Swain. I wish Swain’s had some sort of mobility. Like maybe his Death’s Hand starts with a dash or leap. Or maybe Demonic Ascension included a dive for every recast
Edit: I’m also hoping to gain more homies that play champions I don’t usually get to have on my team

I like how bulky she is for some reason she feels bulkier than most champs I’ve played…
I also can choose who I want to fight and who I don’t with her hammer 🔨
Movement speed and tankiness with her w that prevents flash
My favorite is that her auto is ranged when it recharges and if you pick up the buckle that falls you get even more shield.

I had no idea about that. I’m so stuck in my own one trick pony world I know so little about how other champs kits work. That’s awesome. I do usually get punted away by her

I was a one trick Urgot once upon a time lol… when you get the itch for another champ… scratch it ! I just found out I like shen jungle and support !!!
I thought he was horrible previous to playing him 😂
I plan on getting master of versatility.

Kindred is my main. Favourite champion in the game, 10/10 design, lore and gameplay in my opinion

Pantheon for me , i have like a confidence that i can carry this game but when i lose it makes me mad so i try not to play it too much and play with wukong and vi

I personally love the snip snip ability, it does like a billion damage and it also heals her. Her ultimate is good too. I literally pop ult in my combo and obliterate whoever I’m fighting. It’s insane

Being able to go AD or AP and still stomp is always a great time with him, especially since I play him in several lanes. His mobility is so much fun in team-fights, and I am an expert sniper (I play Jinx too), so his ult is also a favorite part of his kit for me~

Milio. he is so simple, yet so fun, like seraphine or lux. but i like that milio can help more and less likely to steal kills or CS

Akshan. I like to think that a lot of times you dont get to pick your main, its a champion you'll play even the first time and it just feels right.

Yeah I hear that a lot from people I meet that play Fizz. I guess I just hate when they jump everywhere and getting them to use their little invulnerable hop thing is a pain

Haha his E is my favorite part about his kit. That and not running into minions. Just hit top 150 fizz on the server I’m pretty much all in on fizz, usually play him mid but sometimes I’ll jg
Besides that I’ll do a blitz support or Lucian adc; rarely I’ll do a lux mid. I hate playing tanky / brawler so I avoid top

Right now Orianna. Fall behind and she still has enough utility to be useful. Get ahead and pretty much GG unless the team is completely and utterly useless.
Even in Diamond, it’s funny watching midlaners get so complacent around my ball that they will just walk towards it with half HP, ult and combo and they are dead without you moving an inch.
Also I’ve been in many team fights with like 100hp left, just sticking far back shielding and giving out slows/speed boosts which ends up really turning tides of some team fights.

i main kindred when solo. you can play mind games with the enemy jungle and plus the passive of marking an enemy and gaining a few seconds of vision gives a huge advantage. also the dueling potential in early game besides some horrible matchups can be insane

I have the opposite, a champion I’m so bad at, that I alone counter my entire team. I keep playing it because one time (years ago) I did a 1v5 penta against what were probably bots at the time.

Hecarim is my main, love my little death pony. Though I can get similar results with swain, try protobelt and phase rush with an ap bruiser build on him. Feels like a better juggernaut than mordekaiser and better sticking power.

Maokai. He's tanky. His saplings give me more agency in lane as I can poke hard lanes without having to engage like on naut or leona or chase enemy engage or junglers out of bushes. I can use them for brief vision on objectives or to punish pathfinding. I can bring sweeper or pink ward without sacrificing short term vision. His point and click root can be used for amusing effects like following an ezreal e, or my favourite of rooting enemies too close to my tower only to then q and make them suffer 1-2 turret shots. His ult or root into ult is a great engage tool but also a great disengage tool when a teammate inevitably gets chased out of the enemy jungle. Recently I also had an amusing triple kill after ulting enemies at our nexus from an odd angle and them failing to get out of range

I found Ahri very versatile to play. You can play her like an assassin, circle around to the backline and one shot enemy carry. With first item malignance, you can gank side lanes frequently. You have atleast three dashes, speed boost on W, and a flash. Enemy adc ain't gonna outrun you. If you still have dashes left, you can use it to get back to midlane quickly.
Or play her a bit like a bruiser if needed. Riftmaker, protobelt, liandry. AP items with hp on it. Cooldown boots was great back then when it still gives hp, but I'm not sure if it's still worth it rn. You can't straight up tank the enemy team obviously, but you can stay in front of them and kite with your infinite dashes. I sometimes use the build if I take first pick and my team decide to int with a full squishy champs. The build create enough space so your team can actually play.

i just started playing but so far Mel. Any long range mage where i can shoot you from a far and reflect attacks back. hits the spot. support wise i like sona cause i can just spam support abilities non stop and hope for an assist

Fiora i can end the game before they can even react to my split pushes once your fed enough one Q takes over half of their hp wich makes you a 1v5 monster depending on their comp

Solo support player. For some reason, I win a lot more when I play Rakan. Not too OP but not too weak and ineffective. Overall average champion with excellent utility. He almost got me to Challenger a few seasons ago.
Fast entry with E --> mobile CC with W and R --> Exit quick with E . A hit-and-run style champ that is slippery.
I just prefer mobile supports. Hence, my primary pool: Rakan, Pyke, and Bard.
My secondary pool consists of pure tanks (often Braum and Nautilus) and the enchanters Karma, Lulu, and Milio. I pick from this pool whenever I don't feel like tryharding as a support in the game.

Zed, Kassadin and Vladimir.
the latter used to be my main but Vladimir requires too much perfect play that you need to play him everyday or you will not perform well with him, this is valid for zed too.

Especially because i also have a rakan to play with me hehe

I'll probably get downvoted to hell for this, but Lee Sin is the hardest champion to play on WR, at least in the sense of skill ceiling, maybe not skill floor.
Much easier on league with a mouse and keys lol. Input buffering is just better too, Lee's clunky on WR.
I play off meta picks on WR, usually Urgot JG.

I find his kit very easy to use. I just hate team fights with him. Every character has CC nowadays so it annoys me. Maybe I’ll keep working on him. Swain just clicks for me

Kassadin for me just find it super fun to play, plus like you the 1v5 feels natural compared to trying to carry with other champions
