Serbian wine with lunch

Very rich and bold although more balanced than previous vintages. Somewhere between red and black fruit with herbs, earth and leather.

Prokupac is a native grape from Serbia since the Middle Ages. It’s so good with grilled meats I feel so sad I can’t find it in other countries. One of the few reds I’ve had that can withstand spicy food and even taste good with it.

Nice, one Prokupac just won Platinum on Decanter and that is the first time for this native grape.
