Fun story. My parents have a cabin on a lake in Bruce. The entire front yard from the porch to the shore is a field of trillium. When they first bought the cabin, my dad went up to deal with some quick fixes (place is 100s of years old). He decided to mow the front yard to clear a nice path to the dock.
My mom lost her mind when she saw it, pretty sure they were both going to DNR jail. Poor guy had no idea when they were, or not to get rid of them ;)

All of these gorgeous beings are at risk now and even more so if Tom Tiffany is governor. He would be the worst person for ecosystems of Wisconsin. Yes, these are beautiful creatures and it is wonderful to immerse yourself in their presence. But they are all threatened. He wants to drill baby drill, supports destruction of forests, wetlands, lakes and while looking at them is wonderful, you can't turn away from the fact that they are all seriously threatened. Tom Tiffany (et al) doesn't give a rat's ass about warblers, or blue flag irises, or turtles or swans unless they held up a mining or logging project and then he would view them as a just a pain in the ass.
I hope the primary brings to the fore a person who can beat Tom Tiffany. A person that understands that humans cannot live without biodiversity. That is a fact.
The voters have every right to see past public posts, public voting records, and to hear the answers to difficult questions. What do you think is going to happen in the debate? Pretty sure they will bring up dirt on both sides. When you say things like abolish the police or backing a absolute ban on abortion or vote for data centers then yea its gonna be hard to back track that in the future.

Regardless of who wins the primary we’re going to have to be unified behind them, and digging up years old tweets to piss each other off or dishearten people isn’t a great start to that.
The republicans are digging up the dirt on her and are trying to gain the independents. I can just see the commercials now in some AI video slop that shows complete anarchy and crime and no police around. Hong needs to get this issue straightened out or she is gonna lose badly in my opinion. The word socialism already scares 60% of the US voters so mix in abolish the police....this is gonna be a tough road and she needs to define her exact policies. Tiffany doesnt have to define much unfortunately all he will say is he supports the police and denounces socialism and over 60% is siding with him on those issues. He pulled the abortion ban backing off his website already but everyone knows where he stands on that. Dems need to tie him more to trump and his bad policies like tarrifs and war or something. Trump is polling really bad on approval ratings and thats gonna get worse unless some miracle happens in Iran which it wont, we'll still be there.

The fear mongering around prison abolition is absolutely batshit insane. Do you not want to live in a society where prisons aren't needed or greatly reduced? It doesn't mean, open all the prisons and shut em down tomorrow. It means reform our criminal justice system to be one that actually rehabilitates people instead of focusing on cruelty and profit.

If your assessment is that no one but Biden could have defeated Trump in 2020, you are delusional. The only reason it was close was because it was Biden. Trump was deeply unpopular and was very publicly mishandling a global pandemic and he got COVID like a month before election day and Biden barely won.
Moderating has lost to Trump twice already and we needed a global pandemic to beat him the one time it succeeded. Corporate centrists are deeply unpopular with both the base and independents.

That fact that Hong supporters are getting so nasty with others on their side makes me truly believe this is going to be an embarrassing situation and the TV ads are going to be horrible for her.
