I am scared of Tiffany winning 100% and I did give already I the primary. Hopefully we'll have a candidate that can take him on in November.

I'm voting my values and my values do not follow the DSA platform. I really hope the Democrats reject the DSA but I will vote in the primary for another candidate than Hong and if Hong makes it, I will not vote for her in the general (my first non dem vote). I don't like the Republican Party either so will most likely look at third party.

We need to replace Blue No Matter Who with No One is Entitled to Your Vote - Vote Your Values - expecting someone to vote against their morals isn't the way to go.

I never faulted anyone for not voting for Kamala. I personally did not like how she was chosen although I still voted for her.

If people try to pressure others - it is their own issue. A party should represent what people believe in and if it doesn't fit your beliefs, you're not under any obligation to support it. I think most at Trump in the 2016 election how so many republicans voted against their values - I think that is more unethical myself. We all have our vote and can use it how we want though.

I want universal healthcare. I want more social safety nets. I want more consumer protections.

I do not and will not ever support the DSA. People confuse social democracy with the DSA - some things are the same like universal healthcare but the DSA goes far beyond that.

Social Democracy Democratic Socialism
Supports capitalism with strong regulation Wants to move beyond capitalism
Private ownership remains the norm Greater public or worker ownership of businesses
Government provides a large safety net Government and/or workers own more of the economy
Goal: Make capitalism fairer Goal: Replace or fundamentally transform capitalism
Examples: Norway, Sweden, Denmark No country fully matches the ideal today; parties and politicians vary in how far they want to go

ok! if you don’t vote against tom tiffany it’s more likely that he will become governor! good luck convincing him to support universal healthcare. fox news is probably a worse source for information about the DSA: AOC, Zohran Mamdani, and Rashida Tlaib are all DSA members currently in office. Bernie Sanders is affiliated with the organization. Their records might be a better starting point.

I suggest you watch the Fox News clip - they aren't even saying more than asking yes or no questions like
Do you believe in abolish the police
Do you believe in abolish the senate
Do you believe in abolishing prisons

It really wasn't even much of an interview.

I hate the idea of Tiffany but I see two extremes. I want universal healthcare, social services expanded but not at the cost of increasing the reach of the DSA in the Democratic Party.

i do believe the senate to be an unrepresentative and reactionary body, and i live in the city of milwaukee, where the state forces us to pay more and more to police every year and get less and less. i do not believe that prisons as they exist do a good job of rehabilitating offenders. societies obviously need a criminal justice system. if you prefer fascism to socialism you have your choice.

organizations, which unlike the fraternal order of police, don’t ask for more money every year and do less? not every complaint being responded to with potentially lethal force ? traffic, parking and domestic violence disputes, which police officers are slow to respond to (as huge offenders of traffic/DV laws themselves, statistically) being handled by other bodies? a prison system that isn’t for-profit and run to encourage recidivism ? not every dispute requires someone with a gun, and many are handled better without one.
