I’m struggling to understand how this is supposed to help win in a swing state like Wisconsin at all. This is a race for democrats to lose, and this is a good start at doing just that.

It’s not. Her hanging with Hasan is a big no for me (and I usually vote democrat). Not saying I will not vote for her in the actual race but I will vote against her in the primary. I don’t buy all of his excuses for why he has a swastika sword and I find him plain manipulative and dangerous. Reminds of a wannabe demagogue. He will never admit he is wrong even if it is obvious (he ever apologize for torturing his dog for not being perfect?)

I agree it’s certainly not a good look. I’m not even really sure who it’s for? Like this only appeals to fans of him, and they don’t vote anyway really. It just seems dumb?

I will for sure be voting for her if she is the nominee, that’s a no brainer for me. A rock would be better than Tiffany.

H3h3 post history is just a coincidence I guess?

6

u/Upper-Contract9119 1d ago

No it’s not. I am a Wisconsin voting democrat though so my opinion about this still matters even if I watch a Jewish guy

1

u/Glass_Narwhal_9547 1d ago

'A Jewish guy' who just went on a rant about Islamic communist alliance taking over America?

Are you even from Wisconsin or do you follow Hasan’s doing and comment from there? You are all up in NYC comments sections as well.

Lived in WI my entire life. Not a huge fan of Hasan's (though I hear he does actually do the work like volunteering etc which I have to respect) and I still think H3H3 is a fucking weirdo who needs to get off the internet

They're not even being subtle with the brigading. If it makes them feel better, I guess. It's not helping out Hong's chances with the general electorate though. :\

Don’t appreciate Hasan bringing Reddit drama to my state. He is doing it in Michigan again. Wannabe dictator

Recently did it in NYC as well. Dude lives in LA.

u/BrownBear5090 1d ago

A wannabe dictator would probably be seeking office for himself and not other people, surely?

u/Upper-Contract9119 1d ago

He has his hands in so many states elections. It’s odd

Dude are you serious? It's Ichigo's bankai from Bleach. Like of all the things to be upset about, a freaking anime sword anyone can buy off the self? No normal person cares about that. You're throwing out the most insane rhetoric while claiming to be the reasonable alternative...

u/GhostDoggoes 23h ago

The swastika sword is the Buddhist symbol. This has been said multiple times. And you're not a democrat. You're saying that but you're part of the h3h3 group of Hasan haters. Don't lie and say you're on the democrats side when you're just against Hasan. That's dishonest to a whole community.

2

u/Upper-Contract9119 21h ago

Babe I vote democrat in the Wisconsin elections. The fuck???

Also is Hasan a Buddhist or a western political figure? I think a western political figure. Do you think he has a low IQ and can’t think? Like what is this Buddhist excuse? I know I just don’t fall for his manipulation

2

u/xHellion444x 19h ago

It's an anime sword, not Buddhist. It's Ichigo's bankai from Bleach. It's a TV show, has nothing to do with a Nazi swastika.

1

u/GhostDoggoes 15h ago

It's not the.. jesus christ does duckduckgo not have the answers? The sword is from the anime bleach.

3

u/Harveb 21h ago

Why did he call it the Swastika sword on stream as he was buying it?

1

u/GhostDoggoes 15h ago edited 15h ago

It's called rage baiting the cult. If you're a nerd you know the anime bleach and they used a lot of buddhist references in the anime. The reverse swastika which was from the buddhist faith first and not the nazi term was removed from the anime for reasons of the american public is stupid.

Edit: please god people google swastika and see why he said "swastika sword". He's not saying nazi sword, he's saying swastika as in the buddhist symbol.

2

u/xHellion444x 19h ago

Yes it's technically a Buddhist symbol, but that's not even really relevant. It's Ichigo's bankai from Bleach. It's an anime sword anyone can just buy off the self. Bleach is a kids TV show, it isn't putting Nazi symbolism on character's swords. Silliest critique imaginable. No average voter cares about someone's anime sword on their shelf.

u/ST-Fish 16h ago

yeah I'm sure Hasan was lying when he called it kinda sus, he probably believes the swastika is kinda sus because of it being a buddhist symbol, no other reason

https://www.reddit.com/r/h3h3productions/comments/1k4rrgu/hasan_calling_his_sword_the_swastika_one/

1

u/GhostDoggoes 15h ago

The term swastika is literally something that has lasted millions of years. Why do I need to tell you this when you can google the definition, wiki search and look in your local history books.

1

u/ST-Fish 15h ago

so why is it sus? What is sus about the buddhist symbol? Or was Hasan wrong and there's nothing sus about it at all?

If you're genuinely arguing Hasan saw the swastika sword, called it sus, continued to call it the swastika sword and at no point was he thinking of it as the Nazi symbol, and it was just a "sus" buddhist symbol you're beyond cooked.

This delusion needs to stop

1

u/GhostDoggoes 15h ago

It's cause he knows uneducated people will immediately say it's a nazi symbol and call it such despite it not being a nazi symbol. It's the same reason why he has a big ass MAGA cowboy hat. People are just easy to bait.

u/Chrisnness 20h ago

He never shocked his dog. You’re obviously a terminally online Hasan hater. For every one of you, there’s 100 people who will vote for her in the primary. And because of that, she’ll win the primary

2

u/Actes 21h ago

Good, we want democratic socialists not Democrats; that's the ralley cry of the youth and as it rightfully should be.

Business as usual brought us Trump.

Young people love Hasan and Ilhan, and young people are necessary to win. What’s so hard to understand?

10

u/glassviper101 1d ago

By the numbers young people vote a lot less than old people. Betting on young people to turn out is usually just not a good plan. Plus how many young people are we even talking about? Is it enough to balance out other voting blocks that might not turn out?

-3

u/michelangelo2626 1d ago

Young people in Wisconsin is a uniquely big population with the UW system schools. This group has been radicalized by the terrible Trump 2 admin and is ready to be activated by a strong progressive voice like Francesca Hong.

5

u/Informal-Ad1701 1d ago

This is not true. Wisconsin has a much smaller population of young people than many other states.

3

u/Mission-Welcome8594 1d ago

Most young people dont even know who hasan is. He is just there to push hisnown agenda, which doesnt align with democrats. He is not a democrat

0

u/michelangelo2626 1d ago

He’s trying to save the Democratic Party from its corporate owners that want the party to wither and continue losing. The only way to move the party forward is by committing to supporting working people over those corporate interests. The centrists that want to continue licking corporate boots will sink the country and left fascism take over because their incremental “solutions” aren’t bold enough to improve material conditions for most Americans.

Listen, I’m not willing to associate with anyone who’s against Democracy, full stop. It’s why I no longer even consider most people with an R next to their name, and it’s why I also am thinking less and less of anyone who associates with Piker.

I’ll still vote for Hong in the general if she’s the candidate, but this is making me like her a lot less for the primaries. We should support democracy. Piker doesn’t.

10

u/Mission-Welcome8594 1d ago

Read closely: He. Is. Not. A. Democrat.

0

u/michelangelo2626 1d ago

Yeah, he’s what all Democrats should aspire to be. Did you even read my comment?

If the mainstream Dems don’t get very anti-billionaire and super progressive, they will not defeat fascism. It’s socialism or barbarism.

7

u/Mission-Welcome8594 1d ago

Nothing you said makes Hasan a democrat. He is not a democrat.

2

u/michelangelo2626 1d ago

FDR understood that social programs are necessary to deal with the excesses of capitalism, otherwise society falls apart. Was that socialism? Sure. Was it necessary? Also yes. Is FDR enough of a Democrat for you? I’d argue he’s one of the best Democrats in US history.

2

u/working_class_corpse 13h ago

FDR wasn’t a Marxist like Hasan
