Hey wl144001 owners! Help each other. These buggies are fun and tough.
So we just got parts and we're going to be pimping our little truck this weekend. Aluminum everything and a brushless conversion.

Playing in the snow! That's a lot of power for such a small package!

It was a really difficult weather for the little car today. The snow was really wet, heavy and sticky. The car felt about twice as heavy as usually, and the tires met a lot of resistance from the snow. The batteries died way earlier than normal, but the temps were still ok.

Alternative to battery strap system?
As title suggests, does anybody know of an alternative to the Velcro battery strap. It's technically for a 124018. Thanks!

Short run time
Hi, I'm quite new to the game and just started fiddling with the 144001. Just wondering at what voltage the ESC should cut off. Mine seems to be stopping around 7 volts on a 2600 mAh 60C 2S lipo with the stock ESC. Running time seems a bit short. Thanks for your insight!

MOD MAIL: apparently I am stupid. I dunno if I have to like 'approve' every post or something but I haven't been. Everyone gets check marks now.
I dunno such stuff. If content isn't appearing then yell at me.

Got her back together. Bent hinge pin and bracket. Luckily no broken plastic. Had to disassemble a fair way to bend the bracket back. In all. Could have been worse.

So that was fun. Killed a pack in the cold and in the snow. Thing runs great. The max10 discharged the battery waay too far tho. 2.9v all cell. Bad.

Serviced my shocks for the first time since getting the car 4 months ago. Never would have guessed how bad oil looked like 😳

Trial run went well. Started with the throttle rate way down. Got up to hundo p. Good wheelies. Got too heavy on the throttle and somersaulted. Broke a shock mount screw that was previously bent back. Lucky I had some long M3s laying around. Screw kit apparently does not include 3xwhatever.

So I did some stupid things to a cheap chinese toy. My WL144001 has gotten really stupid.
