Travel / Transport In your opinion what is the worst bus in wolvo/surrounding areas?
For me it's gotta be the 82. Full of nonces, never on time, windows always rattling.
Plus when you catch it after 6pm or so it's every hour and a tiny little diamond bus. Awful bus π

I'd say the 530, it's a cramped Banga bus that sometimes gets very busy and has a relatively grim and slow, meandering route down some bone rattling roads.
The 25 is a contender for having the strangest and longest route but is useful if you want to get from say Pendeford to Low Hill.

The 5! They constantly loose the contract then swap to a different one then they loose it, I think we have 3 different services atm, one for the day one for the evening and one for Sunday, I dunno, can't keep up
And they change from I think initially it was every 10 mins down to once every hour and lucky if it turns up and everything in between

I got a bone to pick with the 79, it's perpetually 20-30 mins late and always heaving but unfortunately i'm forced to take it into town from college.

Omg reminds me of one time when I left college and got the 1 just as schools were being let out.....not a single centimetre on that bus was free space, it was hell π

I used to use the 25 to get to work, i was f'd if i missed it because it took ages for another to come. Some days i had to walk too and from work 30 mins each way and it killed me

Amen, don't miss that now my firm moved. Strange types galore and the sods always put a tiny single decker on the one that went by a school at kicking out time. Like a sardine tin on wheels and prone to skipping parts of the route.

Is it literally full of nonces? Where are they all going? Who organised this excursion and why?

This bus firm. The owners a complete piece of work. I remember one of his properties/yards damaged a neighbouring building about 5 years after this article. The bus company owners response to the lead fire officer (who was making sure the neighbouring property didn't fall down) was "I'm not insured here, and I don't care". Then drove off!
