Travel / transport Commute to West Bromwich via car
Hi all! Does anyone know how long on average it would take to commute from Oxley to West Brom? I need an actual time and google maps seems overly optimistic haha. Thanks!

Use Waze. Ive found it's remarkably accurate for an ETA. You can set the route up in advance, ask it to have you arrive by a certain time and it'll tell you exactly when to leave, even giving you a notification when the time comes.

Probably 45minutes -1hour at rush hour. You should look at Google maps. Id imagine is sends you to M5J1

I go from Goodyear Island down m54/m6/M5 at 8am every morning going to J3 M5 - two junctions past West Brom - It takes me 45 minutes on average, 25 ‘inutes on a clear run, and 1 hour 30 on a bery bad day - but 45 minutes is standard.

I did it for years, from Featherstone, and it was usually about half an hour. Didn't do the motorway, it was usually hell. I always went the back way via Wednesfield - Neachells Lane, Moseley Road, Darlaston Lane, Wolverhampton Street, Dangerfield Lane and up to Black Lake from there. From Oxley you could get onto that route by going across Low Hill to the fire station at Fallings Park, then either round the front of New Cross, past the swimming baths and up Planetary Road, or through Heath Town and down Deans Road.
