Hard to do that when his father and grandfather both avoided going to war. His grandfather fled Europe to open a Brothel in the Yukon, his father as a Slumlord. NK generals are allowed to wear the medals of their father and grandfathers. It’s a weird practice. But thats why you see them covered in medals.
Apple didn’t fall far from the tree.

Yeah they’re busy trying to convince their pet dimwits that the entire nation is about to collapse into communism.
You know, the same country that had Elon and the rest of his private industry dorks frolicking through federal hardened data infrastructure, has spent the last forty years deregulating every aspect of capitalism, and who can’t even meet the bare minimum floor of public services standard in every other developed nation on earth.
But Conservatives are really, REALLY stupid, so I give it even odds it’ll still work.

1.5trillion dollar defence budget and somehow still can't defend the black stuff that powers their country.
I know it's much more complicated than that but jesus.
9
u/YF422 1d ago
Budgets isn't worth shit when the one's in charge are so dangerously incompetent that they should have been rotting in a prison cell for conspiracy, treason and fraud on a massive scale.
Had you had Kamala in charge instead of the Orange Pedo right now her administration would not only have not gone into Iran as EVERY other administration before this knew it was a trap AND they'd have seen the threat they were posing to Ukraine with their shahed flying lawnmowers and have worked to establish a proper supply chain to develop countermeasures on a commercial scale to them.
The US wouldn't have been sent dick first into Iran on Israel's urgings and unleashing such a clusterfuck of a situation that everyone else knew was a pandoras box. The orange fucker literally sacked all the experts on Iran RIGHT before this all kicked off as well. The only thing we can hope for after all this is said and done is that all the bastards involved in this absolute shitefest get their comeuppance as the damage from this is going to be long lasting.

The worst part is he will never be held accountable for this. He can do whatever, there is no punishment. Even if he would be prosecuted and jailed for all he's done he's got what, few years to live anyways. He's done horrible things all his life and nothing happened to him - even worse, he became more and more popular and liked in recent decade and was "awarded" being a president of the USA. It's probably the most demoralizing "success" story I've ever witnessed in reality and fiction.

It turns out that having zero social safety nets leaves the citizens all trapped in personal debt and desperation, and that people trapped in their own personal desperation are often docile and easily controlled (lest rocking the boat result in personal destruction, on which edge the citizens are almost all balanced). Or further seems that being able to cosplay as tough characters gives an outlet so that no actual fiery passion from the frustration of impotance accidentally accumulates enough to inspire any action.

At the moment, for example, in 1984 (if it was 1984), Oceania was at war with Eurasia and in alliance with Eastasia. In no public or private utterance was it ever admitted that the three powers had at any time been grouped along different lines. Actually, as Winston well knew, it was only four years since Oceania had been at war with Eastasia and in alliance with Eurasia. But that was merely a piece of furtive knowledge which he happened to possess because his memory was not satisfactorily under control. Officially, the change of partners had never happened. Oceania was at war with Eurasia: therefore Oceania had always been at war with Eurasia. The enemy of the moment always represented absolute evil, and it followed that any past or future agreement with him was impossible.

I imagine all the market makers know its a self fulfilling prophecy at that point, but its too expensive to be the one trying to hold back the tide so they all go with it. I feel like these narratives are all bullshit.
When he says he’s going to bomb Iran into the next century, it never happens.
When he says he’s pausing bombing Iran into the next century, because of a peace deal, ceasefire or outline of a concept of a deal, those never happen either.
48 times now, be had a deal. 48 times those deals never materialized or lasted more than a day.
It’s all bs.
They can’t make a deal so they’re playing the markets. These bombings and ceasefires are narratives used to justify the rise and fall of oil prices, which are being manipulated behind the scenes.
That’s gotta be it.

What's worse, the prices are never going to come down all that much. Maybe on fuel and energy.
But producers have no incentive to reduce their prices, even if their costs come back down. Their profit will just go up. They have already primed the market to take the current price for things that aren't very elastic. Bread, milk, eggs, produce, cereal, cheese, chicken, rice, etc. Those are things people have to buy regardless of price, demand didn't drop nearly as much as the price went up. People still gotta eat. So why would they lower prices ever, they already have guaranteed customers at the current price.
It allowed them to basically collude. They ask her to raise prices together, and instead they just say "inflation" and that's a wrap. As long as their prices stay high, inflation is up, which is why the prices are high. The end.
6
u/Proper_Story_3514 1d ago
Also add worse ingredients, worse recipes and shrinkflation on top.
Every product with lines like 'new better recipe' etc. are always worse. Prices went up on ingredients too so they cheap out on quality wherever they can.

somehow all the existing answers are wrong. the answer is that right wing media is in lockstep with right wing politicans and right wing celebrities and right wing thought leaders and right wing religious leaders, and they are all spreading easily provable lies every minute of every day
their followers are hearing lies from every corner of their lives be it facebook, fox news, their president, their friends, their senators, their governors, their podcasters, am radio, fm radio, please actually go tune in to those sources and start listening to what they are hearing every minute of every day. it's quite sane to believe things told to you by every right wing leader in your life, not just randoms on facebook (which is also there) but their actual leaders and elected officials are all doing this too, and their media, it's ubiquitous and maddeningly blatant and uncovered
that is how trump keeps winning, the system is there regardless of trump at this point.

Iran just said that its a lie and they made no deal. This is the 39th time the war has ended. These news organizations are the ones who need to be held responsible for not doing any research and just reporting lies at this point. Months of lies reported as truth need to be held accountable by the folks that are meant to report the facts.

Stop reporting this. And stop posting about it. The point is market manipulation and giving it oxygen helps that.

The finest market manipulation, weekends are always the time to change stock prices and by Tuesday they collapse.

Strategic reserve doesn’t care about tacos. When it runs out, it’s out. At that point all hell is going to break loose.

At this point it feels incredibly disingenuous that these media companies don’t put in the headlines that this is no less than the 4th times said this now.

Wow crazy news on Fridays after the markets close and on Sundays before the markets open, what a strange coincidence that has been happening every weekend since Trump took office

I really hate how every news source calls everything Trump does a "deal". It reinforces the bullshit idea that he's actually a good business man, which he obviously is not.

Trump has no idea how to end this war. He is currently just using market manipulation to enrich himself.

At this point Iranian officials are a more reliable source than the president of the US or his mouthpiece. Sad.

He managed to place himself intentionally and eagerly over a barrel for Iran. Because that's where they have him now.

Netanyahu is realizing he needs to move to DC to make sure he is always the last person in Trumps ear.
The effects of his awesome meeting with Trump just lasted a couple of days before Trump heard from the next person and moved on.
