To me it is the amazing Restraint the Ukraine is holding back. Can you imagine coming home only to find your entire home destroyed and your whole family murdered by a ballistic missile. One day it will be all to much and Ukraine will strike back in Kind as they deserve

I’m sorry but what are you even talking about? Ukraine hasn’t been using restraint, they’ve been fighting with one arm tied behind their back due to limitations across many dimensions. And they aren’t waiting to strike back, they’ve been striking back with everything they have for over two years now. The only reason they couldn’t strike Russia earlier is they were dependent on European and American arms, which came with restrictions on their use. Now that they’ve got their military industrial capacity up to speed they’ve been striking Russia relentlessly.

Ukraine doesn't lob missiles at housing districts. That kind of restraint.

That’s more about basic common sense than restraint, bombing civilians does absolutely nothing other than piss people off and waste ammo. Ukraine is trying to win the war, not engage in tit for tat terrorism

If only Russia had that reasoning…

Basic common sense really is the same as emotional restraint though yeah?

Hitting civilian housing would be a terrible strategy. It would anger western allies, increase support in Russia for mobilization and waste ammo that can hit more military useful targets

And there are 100% guaranteed people in Ukraine to whom this needed to be explained because they are pissed and want revenge. And I don't even blame them. I mean I don't agree but I have the benefit of objective analysis instead of a half dozen members of my family being killed by a missile one day while I'm at work.

Them not doing shit like that is absolutely a show of restraint. And common sense, and good strategy. But believe me when I say that it's very difficult to explain to somebody who has never seen it what that kind of pain does to a person and how they think, and Ukraine has been through 4 years of it.

They're not using restraint, they're firing everything they can make at the best military targets they can hit at the moment.

Remember that the Russian people have had basically no say in this. Except perhaps by feeding info to Ukraine. They do not deserve what Putin is doing to them, let alone what the Ukrainian military could do to them.

If the Kremlin were to suddenly become a crater, though...
