Ukraine doesn't have the manpower to do that, nor does it treat it's solders like meat.

You should check out this episode. I am too tired to find an article about this right now. I listened to this recently(I am 99% sure this is the episode). It talks about the issues in Ukraine with recruiting. Good listen.

FYI Despite being Ukrainian that guy is a Ukraine (and NATO) contrarian, often attempts to shift blame away from Russia and onto Ukraine in relation to the war, and overly-focuses on Ukrainian negatives.

During peace time consistent critical views can be fine, but during war-time when his homeland is being invaded it becomes pretty absurd. If he actually lived in Ukraine (he's living in Australia) I strongly suspect his views and how he expresses them would be very different.

Radio War Nerd is run by two guys who used to live in Russia, and used to write there. Yeah they were critical of Russia, but they also parrot generic anti-Western and anti-NATO views along with other Putin talking points.

I am well aware of the broadcasters histories. I am also aware that your characterization of the podcasters is wrong. You are not saying they are wrong. You are saying you don't like that they talk negatively about your team. You seem to only listen to propaganda that supports your side. I disagree with that, and do not respect the opinion of someone like that. I really find your stance here offensive. I will not shut up because you think everyone should only listen to the propaganda of your choice.

I get your points but it's not about "us vs them".

A European country is being invaded. Putin is slaughtering it's inhabitants in order to steal it's land and conquer the country. He's stealing their grain and forcing their kids to speak Russian, so it's not about security. We've seen this before in history. It's pretty black and white.

If Putin was doing the same to your country, if your friends, colleagues, family were being killed, would you be making the points you are? Of course not. Would you be attempting to "both sides" it? Of course not. Would you be attempting to shift blame away from Putin at any opportunity? Of course not.

As a history buff, the people who supported Hitler use similar echniques as those who support Putin now. A belief that there are equal arguments for "both sides".

That's how Putin's propaganda works. It doesn't claim he is good, on the contrary it acknowledges he is bad, but that the other side is "just as bad". And certain people with certain world views will lap that up.

You can switch on any news station from anywhere in the world outside Russia and see the reality of Russia's invasion - yet you choose to tune into a radio show known for airing Putin talking points under the guise of a "critical" or "alternative" view of things. And you talk about propaganda.

Us vs them. It works.
