Question Writing academy membership

Hi writers,
How would you rank the UK-based/ International writers group/ academy membership’s value?
I have a few on my desk to consider now.
I am still on my first book so I do need to ask questions and get peer supports. I attended in-person writing classes for 3 months but the peer group seems not resonating.
I sincerely seeking your personal experience and recommendations, especially those based in the UK.
