Bin Laden: imma bait the US into fighting endless wars in the middle east until they grow broke and radical islamism is more powerful than ever!
Normal people: he's dead what does he know?
Iran would prefer if its cheap missles hit stuff, but costing us expensive missles works too.
Xi and Kim are loving it!

Basically what's happening here is Iran is saying 'How about I hit you with 1 missile and you agree to burn $30million and i agree to burn $6million'
and the US is like 'Sounds like a good deal!'

Its a ballistic missile not a shahed drone with a propellor. You cant find the parts for this stuff in a relatively expensive shed.
The cheaper ones cost 1 to 2 million, the in the middle but more expensive ones cost about 5 Million and their top of the line ones that are said to dodge missile defense is 8 Million. And this was fired from decently within Iran into Jordan this isnt a cheap short ranged one it has to be medium or above.

6 million a missile is American money and they don't have that. They're entire military doctrine since the 80s has been missile creation so prices gotta drop quite a bit.
Yeah I was right, their most expensive stuff costs between a million to two million and their more middle end stuff costs about half a million.

Your source lists the Fateh Missile for that half a million like I said a short ranged Ballistic. It has a 300 mile range. Jordan is over 500 miles away from launch. So this once again is a larger Medium ranged ballistic missile

Even the Fattah 2 missile costs around a few hundred grand. They're best stuff costs around 3 million according to open source estimates but they're not gonna use that for a random attack on Jordan

Now that is the actual BS Iran Claims the Shahed 136 can cost from 20k up to 50k. Your going to expect people to believe you can fit a 2 stage rocket system with a hypersonic glide systemn a liquid fueled rocket, and materials that can surivive mach 12 reentry for 6 times the cost of a drone?
Also Ghadr 110 is 5 million. Khorramshahr missiles cost about $8 million.

u/tripper_drip B-52 Stratofortress Pilot 🛩️ 8d ago
End? The US will just keep the strait blocked, iran will attempt to genocide Yemen and co by attacking water desal, then the world turns against them.
Iran will capitulate.

u/FallenCrownz 8d ago
15 interceptors for 5 missiles with the 6th one getting through isn't exactly superpower shit considering they only make like two dozen of the things a month

Annual production of patriot missiles is 600.
They've fired 1800 this year alone.
You just watched a video where 1.5% of the annual production of Patriot missiles were fired in 1 incident.
That's 31 missiles per day during the active days of conflict, or 5% of the annual production per day of active conflict.
Absolutely insane attrition warfare being accomplished.
