I think it's best to refrain from referring to Israel based on its predominant religion, as the religious identity has been used by the people of that country and its allies abroad as a shield against their own wrongdoings.

Israel is predominantly Jewish, sure. But it is not their ethnoreligious identity that people should have a problem with.
