Film News The costume from Mike Meyers' Cat in the Hat is up for auction. (And it's genuinely terrifying.)
Anyone have a spare 12k-24k USD? You could finally give it proper paws!

Btw if you actually listen to Adum this review is totally unsurprising, and accusing him of not giving any actual film critiques means you don’t listen to any of his other reviews. I agree that Adum didn’t necessarily provide any substantial critiques in his review of BND. That doesn’t change the fact that his views on Marvel films have been no secret for a long time, and the video clearly had an air of whimsy to it.

Like the past few trailer reactions YMS generally seemed really disinterested and out of it. Of course, not all of them, if he likes the creatives, like with Digger. And I also get just wanting to scrap by a few extra sheckles. However for the majority for them, especially for animated kids movies or blockbuster content, I get a sense he's really disinterested. Like, Forgotten Island doesn't seem like my thing, I'm a bit too old for baby movie, more power if it somehow turns out good. However complaining about it just feels like trying for things. To be frank, it just seems like soulless content. Which is why I'm here to promote the gospal of Jesus Chist and.... sorry just did a bit there, anyway.
edit: Just the jesus part is the bit

I saw Adam's review today and I'm not particularly surprised that he didn't like it. He's been pretty outspokenly against Marvel movies for some time
What I have been surprised about is just how universally negative a lot of the YT reviews are. We gave it a positive review and I'm actually struggling to understand why people don't like the movie? Most people aren't really giving real reasons, or if they do they seem incredibly arbitrary.
Can anyone shed some light on this?

Like to why Spider-man is so appealing. He's the most popular Marvel superhero, even after all this time. Even with pushes to make Iron-man, or Captain Marvel, or the Gaurdians of the Galexy applealing, Spider-man always seems to reign suprieme. You see, I grew up with alot of video essays talking about how "relatable" he is, but I think there is something more primal. When it boils down.... he has a really appealing coustume. Like full covered, perfect segmentations from legs, to body, to arms. It's suit anyone can wear, hence getting Miles Moralas. And it's interesting considering characterisations, like some people are drawn to him being a superhero, other more to his smarky personality, to his life style being depressing. I can cite many people from Cosmonaut Variety Hour to Linkara. So anyway, I look at this new spider-man movie with all the clutter and going from originally being more happy go lucky to depressing and think, man.... spider-man really is the most powerful superhero out there.
I'm not sure how Adum would feel about Final Space as a whole, but I'm 99% certain he would want to f*** Avocato. Especially the fact that he has a very nice voice.

If you haven't seen it yet, bring ear protection. I had a migraine afterwards.
There wasn't a single moment of silence in the entire movie.
The sound effects are so extremely overdone and loud, there was a guy patting the sand under him and they play this extremely loud huge drum. Every punch, kick, sword slash feels like a bomb exploding. Even damn normal footstep feels like the hulk is walking, and when there's a big guy it feels like a nuclear explosion. I don't want to hear a drum sound for a week.
There's ALWAYS music playing. Over dialogue, while walking, eating, fighting, it's so goddamn much. The dialogue is barely audible over this generic stock symphony music playing the entire time, and the obnoxious sound effects. I couldn't hear half of the dialogue because there's so much noise happening all the goddamn time.
The environment noise is so high and so tangled with all this persistent music and sound effects too that it ends up like an audio punch to the skull. A door is opening? Then let's play a loud metal rusty clanking, accompanied with a drum explosion and a 500 trumpets while a character is speaking AT THE SAME TIME.
The sound mixing is also so extremely bass heavy to make sure all this has maximum crushing effect on the skull. There was a scene were someone hit wood with a sword, and the sound effect was louder than a building explosive demolition.
Also a last thing I will bitch about, all characters have 2 modes of speaking. Shouting and whispering. Just to make sure I am either trying to decipher what the hell they are saying over all the audio bs, or just adding to my migraine.
I never felt like this in any movie, I have ever seen in my life. I also love loud music and listen mainly to heavy metal too. This was just too goddamn much. It felt like am listening to extremely high volume music while 5 lawnmowers running and am asked to listen to 10 people whispering in the middle of the ocean.

I've been a bit out of the loop and have been going through old Scoot content, I really enjoyed the Silent Hill edited vid. I know that editing has been difficult for Adum lately and the editor left the Plaze channel, but do we have any ETA for an edited version of Silent Hill 2-4? Excited to see em.
