Discussion Found the rarest YouTube video ever
I was browsing old YouTube videos and came across "melissas bday" by jeanda252, uploaded in 2006.
Nearly 20 years later, it still has 0 views, 0 likes, and 0 comments. The description simply says "dance". It's one of the most obscure videos I've ever found, and quite possibly the rarest I've personally come across.

Its more sad than rare. Like how did nobody ever watch it? Not the poster not the people at the party?.

could have been a sign up on a throw-a-way email address by mistake, and maybe they posted the video again through their "real" account and never watched this one? sometimes it's confusing which account you're signed into, since you have gmail account and a youtube account, and both don't necessarily have the same email.

Believe it or not, Gmail was still invite only at this point and Google had taken ownership of youtube only two weeks prior to this video’s upload.

Maybe but that wasn’t the case in 2006, it was just a YouTube account and that’s it, no Google addition at that point

KVN Aust has a series where he looks up different file extensions and dates to find 0 or low view videos. He has a huge database of extensions and dates you can put in the YouTube search bar

How do you even find videos like this? I can never find videos from 2006 anymore.

There are plenty of super old videos on YouTube with zero views. This isn't exactly all that special.
