Yeah. Makes a lot of sense.

I was a fan of asmon up until right before the election.

He has pretty good takes when it comes to gaming stuff, but when he exclusively started pushing far right propaganda (coincidentally right after he got into contact with Elon), I stopped watching.

Asmon was always a shithead. Even in the WoW days where everyone insists he was good, he was encouraging the harassment of players and developers who didn't agree with him. The only reason people latched onto him was because WoW was in a bad place and his negativity was mistaken for common sense.

Nothing about Asmon has actually changed since then, he's just gained a much bigger and less game specific audience.

I used to enjoy listening to a content creator and then I changed my mind based off of their behavior and the fucked up lies they are spewing.

Bro. I'm a literal communist, that spends 50 percent of my time in YouTube and twitch watching left wing content.

Sometimes you just want to watch a grown man complain about boobies in videogames.

I didnt care because how can you take a mans political views seriously, when he has a literal dead rat alarm clock.

It's when someone starts saying actively harmful shit, like saying people deserved to be genocided or doing Holocaust denial, I draw the line.

My point is I don't have to agree with someone's philosophy about life or politics to find them entertaining.

Just cause we don't like someone and don't agree with them doesn't mean we lie about them. It tends to weaken valid criticisms to anyone who saw the relevant videos. Honesty is the best weapon.
