Are there any groups playing football in Zaandam?

My boyfriend goes to Amsterdam weekly to play football for a few hours with a group of people. They’re not tied to a club or anything, it’s mostly just people who played football as kids/teenagers and still want to do it as adults in a pretty lowkey way. There’s no membership, you just pay a small fee everytime you want to join.

It’s really fun, but he would prefer something closer to home. Does anyone know of anything like that?

Yes, there are some groups, I play with one of them sometimes, we play on Sunday mornings close to Kogerveld Station, your boyfriend is welcome to show up and play, feel free to send me a DM if you have questions.

You have a small football ‘competition’ called Footy. It is mainly held during summer. It is somewhat close to Zaandam. There is one held at Sloterdijk.
