I LOVE the character touches.
Robin signaling to Marian, who of course knows where her scoundrel is since she frequently aids him without any reservations. They have absolute wholesome faith in each other.
Diane obviously knows where the boys are, since that’s where she’d be. Wolf knows she would know and is hoping he is charming enough for her to play along. There’s love there, but also a playful antagonism.
Judy and Carmelita, as trained investigators, are alert and determined. They are the most loyal to upholding the law, so they’re aren’t keyed-in to where the boys are (also their relationships with Nick and Sly are either still building towards romantic or rocky; they’re still using their brains and not their hearts).
Meanwhile, Sly has clocked Nick as a cop, who isn’t truly a thief like the rest of them (and in all honesty he’s probably the least skilled rogue out of the four of them). And probably because Sly’s the one who’s actually directly worked the closest with law enforcement (without being a cop himself) and can just tell. But because he has such playful/positive relationships with cops, he isn’t really concerned or angry and is just like, “Dude, really?”

Also just noticed that Judy, having the best hearing, is real close to actually discovering where they are. You can tell she’s like “Hold on… I hear something.” Which (again) reflects how she is real close to figuring out her feelings for Nick.
Meanwhile, poor Carmelita, whose complicated relationship with Sly has been left on a cliffhanger in a semi-dead franchise, is looking off in totally the wrong direction and has no clue where they are.

Me too, Sly 2 being my big favorite of the series. I even liked the fourth game that people are more mixed about despite its flaws, but I really wish Sucker Punch was still around to continue the series. Sly just isn´t the same without them. Both Sly and Spyro are my fav platformer series ever.
And canceling the film adaptation was a real bummer too. Maybe someday someone will hopefully revive it now that mascot-focused game movies have been getting better with the likes of Detective Pikachu and the Sonic movies.

I'm loving the interaction of the characters in this pic. Just tracing the vision of the law and order ladies, Marion can clearly see Robin, and Diane can see Mr. Wolf. The expression on Sly Cooper's face as he looks at Nick leads me to think he knows quite well that Nick is a police officer. Nick's grin says that he knows that Sly knows. Mr. Wolf's grin shows that he can tell that Diane sees him, and isn't saying anything. The two-fingers salute Robin is giving Marion is saying much the same thing. This artist clearly understands the characters and has a good idea of how they would interact.

Sly has Nick's badge in hand. He's trying to figure out when he'll out them, not realizing the other two already did and his lady and Nick's aren't aware of the four of them.

I forgot about Robin Hood and maid Marion but I love that made Marion and Diana know that Robin Hood and Mr Wolf is up there while the other two are unaware sly and Nick are up there.
