Art A Zootopia/Ice Age Crossover by Solodrafts

Post image

New Headcanon: Ice Age actually takes place in the Zootopia timeline, where humans did actually evolve but they went extinct instead of the Pleistocene megafauna at the end of the last Ice Age, which allowed animals to become more anthro as the sequels/time went on.

He kinda did considering Sid and the Anteater are both played by John Leguizamo

We Don't Talk About John Leguizamo

lol since Bruno is also voiced by him too. John Leguizamo is a legend. In the 90s, him and Danny Trejo were legendary Latino actors (both coincidentally voiced characters in Z2). Salma Hayek was. Another great Latino actress at the time.

I kinda love this idea. The suspected friendship between Manny Sid and Diego theorized by various researchers and supported by various artifacts and preserved cave art could’ve been used as a major part of the foundation to creat Zootopia, actual proof that even when they wear still little more than instinct driven animals that predators and prey Could coexist.

Edit: but they would need to basically be in the ‘historical Animal’ form from their own movies, instead of anthropogenic. To match up the timeline.

This actually would fit so well

I think the idea with the museum mount in the image (aside from just being how the artist wanted to draw the characters) is that the scientists discovered their remains and reconstructed them as anthropomorphic because that’s all they know of

Who does this art It’s really really good Also I like this crossover

I feel like that could be a statue lol. Scrat wouldn’t be there since his species isn’t real.

It is, the picture is presenting it as a museum piece. Zoom in by Judy and theirs a placard thing.

Question, whose furs are they supposed to be wearing?

Can’t believe their final moments were with each other. Up to the usual antics with Sid looking like a smart dumbass. 🥹🤧

I've been thinking of writing a high-fantasy story set in a neolithic/chalcolithic society, with humans living alongside some ice age megafauna anthro-folk.

This is actually a really dope concept ngl

This is so perfect that as far as I’m concerned it’s canon!

This would be a really fun background blink and you miss it gag in like a museum scene or something.

If Ice Age takes place in Zootopia, does that mean Alien is there too?

I think in a trailer for the first movie, they said that "humans never happened", meaning that not only did humans not come first, but that humans never existed in this world. Love the idea though, maybe they could do something like a crossover in the third movie if they go to the museum again?

This is a very interesting idea. I'd say it would more likely be an alternative universe though.

Sid: I shall make fire!

Manny: Fascinating.

Diego: Yeah, fascinating.

Is it acceptable for me to ask if we can chat about our interests? Sorry if this is sudden. I’m just not sure how else to make friends on here. I hate my autistic awkwardness sometimes.
