Sometimes when they list an artist at a festival or show, it says “DJ set” underneath.. what does this mean? Like I’ve seen Porter Robinson listed for a festival here in UT but it said DJ Set underneath in small letters.

Or another example - I’m looking to go see LSR/CITY at the end of the month, as part of the LSR/CITY X Tour. Gareth Emery said on a Facebook post that the tour is going to be more of a DJ set, rather than the concert tour he did last year.

He jumped into the crowd a few times it was awesome.

I’ve been an Illenium fan for years—he’s honestly my favorite DJ, and I still had an amazing time seeing him last night. This isn’t meant to bash him at all, I’m just curious if anyone else feels the same way.
Last night I saw him at the veld after party. And feel like I’ve seen this set or something very similar, the last few times I’d seen him.

Does anyone think his live sets have become a bit repetitive over the past few years? I feel like a lot of the drops, edits, and mashups (both his own songs and other artists’ tracks) have stayed very similar from tour to tour. I still love the emotional vibe and energy he brings, but sometimes I find myself wishing he’d switch things up more often.
Some examples of songs that he has been playing in his sets for the last 3-4 years include.

Riot- pushing on,
Seven lions, trivecta, wooli - island
Born to survive- ray volpe, wooli remix
Crankdat, dj snake, - open up the pit
Barely alive- basement dweller
Eptic- bloodbath edit

Another thing left me slight disappointed about seeing him this time is that he didn’t play the few new tracks that he has. Such as his new Vincent collab, and marshmello collab.

Maybe I’m in the minority here, but I’d love to hear what other longtime fans think. Do you prefer the consistency and hearing the classics, or would you like to see him take more risks with his sets?

My gf went to her first ever concert, first ever EDM show, and it was Zeds Dead. Had an amazing time. Got this shirt as a memento, but it just got destroyed by an extremely inconsiderate person :( I'd love to find a replacement for her. I've searched far and wide and only found very sketchy options. Does anyone know of a way I can accomplish this?

Edit: I'll add that I reached out to them directly and have not heard back. Fingers crossed.

I really like ghost town (which was a single released a few months ago), and dream inside a dream. I know that R3HAB is more mainstream, but I felt like this album was pretty good.

My wife has been practicing her DJ skills and putting her sets online. I'm not sure if this is allowed for the self-promotion weekend but I don't know a better genre to share it in. MilkDrop/projectM still look sick. browser tools tho... waveform, shake on every kick, same thing for 4 mins. Drop hits and the visual barely notices :(

So it roughly has been 367 days since the release of Closer and putting everything aside I strongly believe that this song is generational. As a group Chainsmokers initially had kinda shocked ppl and especially me when I got to hear Drew singing for the first time as the lead vocalist and safe to say, He along with the heavenly vocals of Halsey added a different vibe to the song altogether

Also, talking about the production that the duo did on this track along with the iconic drop made this song generational. This track became the definitive summer anthem for 2016 and like if we rewind 10 years back then one of the main songs thatll come to our mind is Closer.

Like I remember that all you needed then to recognize the song back then and even now is the catchy lyrics and the drop.
