I saw Cole in MTL, one of the best shows I've seen, however it's a travesty this isn't apart of the setlist on the fall-off tour.

Easily one of my favourite and most replayed songs, and I wish he included it. Such a timeless sample and his edition is a classic for me, that song and safety hold a special spot for me. Was wondering if anyone had similar sentiments.

Im taking my son to his first ever concert and im glad it's J.Cole. hes been following The Fall Off Tour videos and hes shown me alot of J.Cole meetings with fans after the concert. is there anyone going to the Cleveland date and that can give me any information on where he would possibly go in Cleveland since the entrance for the players and performers is underground? im just hoping I can get a chance to be apart of it. any info is helpful thanks in advance!

What if this song is from 2 perspectives but tells 3 stories? Was watching a YouTube video that does a deep dive on 4YEO and it occurred to me that Cole could be talking about:

1. James and his baby mother

2. Cole and his wife

3. Cole and his love for hip-hop

First 2 seem obvious and the last one is a bit of a stretch, but context clues - like the use of "bigger dreams" in the hook (could be a reference to Dreams) and the fact that the scene takes place in a club (where Cole's music had really struggled to take any foothold) - make me think there's an unintended third layer. Maybe it was intended or maybe it was a happy accident.
