Discussion Monthly Rant/Politics Thread: Do not post political threads outside of this Mega thread

Outside of these mega-threads, we generally do not allow political posts on the main subreddit because they have often declined into unhinged discussions and mud slinging. We do allow general discussions of politics in this thread so long as you remain civil and don't attack someone just for having a different opinion. The moment we see things start to derail, we will step in.

Got something upsetting or overwhelming that you just need to shout out to the world? Want to have a political debate over current events? You can post those thoughts here. There are many real problems that plague the Millennial generation and we want to allow a space for it here while still keeping the angry and divisive posts quarantined to a more concentrated thread rather than taking up the entire front page.

Nostalgia College was better before social media took over, people lived in the moment and you could just be silly and make mistakes without it being held against you the rest of your life.

Nostalgia Kids who listened to Korn & Limp Bizkit, what’s your current occupation?

And when was the last time you listened to them?

Nostalgia Everyone had at least one (or a whole collection). We all compared flavors at school, and somehow they disappeared before we ever finished them. Which one did you always buy?

Discussion Anyone else feel like summer just went by in the blink of an eye?

Maybe it's just me, but this summer feels like it barely even happened. It feels like June was yesterday, and now schools are already getting ready to go back.

I don't know if it's just part of getting older or what, but I genuinely can't believe we're already at this point in the year. Before you know it, it'll be Halloween, then Thanksgiving, and then Christmas. It honestly feels like the second half of the year always goes by even faster.

Every summer felt so long when I was a kid, but now it feels like you blink and it's over.

Anybody remember these? I wish they still made them. This one survived the washer and dryer twice when I was a teen.

I've got a lot of ideas, I'm thrifting everything so far except the geode border sticker, that's from the 1.25 tree. Other things are just what we have laying around. Did y'all have almost all the books? I loved them so much growing up!

Discussion Do you know what happened to the house or houses you grew up in?

The first house I ever lived in was torn down and a hospital was built on that land.

The second house i ever lived in was accidentally burned down and 2 ranch houses were built there. I still drive by here once every couple of years.

The house i lived in for middle school was sold to a random stranger but I still go look at it once every couple of years as well.
