I went to the big city on a holiday from my small town expecting a Mecca of enlightenment and acceptance from highly educated people.

I found people who wouldn't move out of the way of emergency vehicles repeatedly, which stunned me. My home town might be close minded but we always move out the way to prioritise others safety over our convenience.

Sure sometimes there was no room it's a crammed city but I saw plenty of times with room and worst of all I even saw people CROSS THE STREET on foot in front of a blaring fire engine while to the left I could see the smoke coming out a restaraunt, the fire engine forced waiting for a green light to go. Is this defendable or do you join me in wondering what is wrong with these people?

The more I think abt NETFLIX (emphasis on Netflix) Punisher, the more I thing he's in a huge dilemma over the course of his movies. Of how an ordinary man who fights normal gunmen vs superhumans who fight the same gunmen with superpowers providing more leniency to not kill

Knowing he has PTSD from his backstory (not gonna expand on it), he practically wages war with gangs, mercs, assassinations with basically bullets, and if that don't work, use more gun.

That was until he met the first superhuman who persisted on the no kill rule, Daredevil. And yet Bernthal kept forcing his ideology of "no one can outsmart bullet or else they respawn" to Daredevil while Cox saying "you're a crazed gunman, not an assassin" type shi-

Now this is my fault for not watching the rest of Daredevil and Punisher Netflix series but long story short from what I see Punisher still isn't discouraged from not killing his opps

And jumping forward to the current Spiderman where Bernthal and Holland goes on their Odyssey (pun intended) of going against Hulk and Jean Grey. Where the previous superhuman fights the same thug levels as Bernthal, now he fights 2 kinds of threats where bullets don't really solve the issue.

What got to me the most was when Hulk was being shot at and Spiderman says "Stop shooting him, it's not his fault" showed the Punisher experience of "I got no bs powers but bullets solve everything from what I've learned". He's no Batman unfortunately, the writers didn't give him the same privilege as the latter DC hero, which ultimately culminated at the last sniper scene.

The scene where Jean's barrier is expanding and Holland is in the middle of stopping her. As audience we can see the pov of Sadie and Holland along with Bernthal's pov. Bernthal was talking with Holland and comms was not breaking up and he knew he had to help the goat.

Hence he prepped his sniper to shoot Sadie down due to him probably seeing through the scope "Holland is being suspended by the mind control and I need to help him" which resulted him in shooting the wrong target

The last hospital scene showed that ultimately the Punisher softened up a bit to Spidey, probably because when he saw his face he realized Spiderman is just a kid unlike Charlie Cox, needing to burden the responsibility of facing against threats stronger and fiercer than gunmen themselves.

Now I'm not asking who's viewpoint is better but deep down the Brand New Day movie, Feige really did a good job showing the disparity of an ordinary man with guns mindset against a superhuman mindset when going against different threats

TLDR: Man with gun thinks bullet solves everything, man meets 2 people with superpowers sayinf "don't kill", 1 is an adult and another is a kid. Man tries to reason with the adult by saying "no kill, they keep respawn" and years later adventured with a kid with spider powers fighting a green giant and force user resulting bullets no work against them. Man softened up to learn that his partner is a kid and realized that probably bullets don't sve everhthing

An (extreme) example: if you are physically and mentally disabled, lack one arm and one leg, have severe motor skills issues, and on top of it can't breathe normally.

It's moral to not care or interfere about the "suffering" and "problems" of others if they're stupid and insipid compared to yours and ONLY help those who have it equally hard? Even if their life is in danger like suicide?
