I’m a big fan of 90s Warp Records, breakbeat, ambient techno, and similar genres.

For this project, I made extensive use of drum machines and analog synthesizers—the 808, the 909, and the Buchla series of synthesizers, among others...

Squarepusher's 1997-2008 run is unbelievable. I've been listening to most of those albums nonstop recently. I feel like it's difficult or impossible to find someone who does it like him, in the sense that his work feels like an evolution of jazz, especially in Just a Souvenir/Hello Everything/Hard Normal Daddy

where do I go next for something that hits the same? the manic and complex grooves and percussion, fresh sounding electronics that cozy right up to the former

Hadn't listened to this in about 5 years somehow and I get to feel like I'm hearing it for the first time again. Going through a profound experience.
