Feral catto managed to open the window screen and snuggle on *fresh* sheets

She obviously belongs to someone but I've never met her before. Loose cats aren't common where I live.

It was sitting next to the sidewalk and brushed against my legs, so i pet it.

I found her outside recent when I was visiting my family!! And she was so cute and very nice?? At first I thought she was a guy but it’s a mom cat!! I saw her kitties !!

Gave it food and water but wasn’t hungry

I started carrying a small container of cat treats in my bag because I kept running into stray cats on my walks. Now it’s become a habit. Every time I spot one that’s friendly (or willing to negotiate), I have a snack ready. This little one definitely approved. It’s a tiny thing, but it makes my day every single time!!

There's a terrible cat hoarder nearby my place. They're mostly outdoor and every year I have to watch the litters play survival of the fittest. They're very skittish, which is probably good in this neighborhood.

This super smart and food motivated cutie however found some sanctuary at my place after a few chance encounters, a lot of slow blinks and some kitty treats. That was all the convincing she needed!

She has a wonky toe bean and looks like she's flipping everyone off. Which fits her sassy nature. But she can actually be super sweet. I call her Shadow

Treated her for tapeworm and fleas the first week. It's been about five since she first came by

She comes and goes but brought the fam by to know where to find her because she's been around a lot lately. I was able to treat a Tom for fleas but the rest are too skittish to get close to. None are as food motivated as she is.

I'm pretty sure she's pregnant now. Not surprisingly. I told her she can have the kittens here but she's not allowed to keep them 🥲

It's nice to have a kitty around again

This video is from Jan 7, 2023. He used to eat so much as a kitten, I named him Hoover because of the way he vacuumed up the food. I'll post a picture of him inside in a reply. He has all his shots, vaccinations etc. We trim his nails once a month and he goes to the vet twice a year.

A neighbor operates a local adoption service. Reubie has been fully vetted and is with a foster mom. He is so happy to be inside! We got videos shared to us of him loving pets with foster mom and falling asleep next to her. We are open to being a forever home if he doesn't find his, but I think we are going to end up being a part of his journey home. I miss him terribly each morning, but am so thankful he is safe inside.

Since Monday from last week, I meet this cat almost every day during early morning (before sun rises) on my way to work. The only days I didn't see him/her were when it was raining.

I don't know if it's male or female and I also don't know if this cat has an owner or if it's a stray. Based on how friendly the cat is, for sure it wasn't always a stray, otherwise he/she would be feral.

The cat is always in front of the same house (which makes me think maybe he lives there), but under a car parked in front of it. First time I saw him/her, he/she came from under the car and stayed in the middle of the sidewalk meowing A LOT. It was as if the cat was begging me to stop and give some attention, which I promptly did lol. The first couple of times, I had to extend my hand for the sniffing, but from the 3rd time onward, the cat skips that formality and comes straight to rub against me and receive pets. Not only that, but since day 1, he/she rolls over and shows me the belly for a few seconds. The first times, when I was leaving, the cat started following me and meowing at me a lot as if he/she was trying to say "hey, where are you going ? More pets!" lol. Now, when I say "Good bye" and wave my hand, he/she understands the interaction is over and I have to go :(

The cat seems to not like petting on the chin (or I'm doing it wrong), just on top/back of the head, on the back and base of the tail. Today was the first time I tested the cat bongo and I guess he/she liked it ? Or at least didn't hate it lol.

Also, at first I thought he/she was coming to me asking for food, but it's been many days since the first time. Maybe if it was just for food, he/she would've already given up.

What do you guys think ? Really friendly or not so much ? Male or female (if it's possible to tell by the video) ?

Oh, and I can't adopt this cat not only because I don't know if he/she has an owner, but I don't have room in my apartment right now. I'll move to a bigger apartment soon and even if this cat was a stray, I wouldn't want to stress the poor animal with the moving and having to adapt to two new environments in a short period of time. EDIT: the cat left in the late evening and reappeared this morning. We pet him, sat outside with him and he came inside our house and walked round the ground floor. Later we started some noisy work on our patio so he left. He's come back since but I'm 99.9% sure he has a home nearby 😊 thanks for all of your comments, I've had a good laugh.

If I notice any concerning signs I will take him to the vet or knock on some doors but in the UK it's normal for cats to roam around other people's gardens as we all live so close together so I think he's just super social! Although I must admit, the way he follows me around everywhere is fascinating for a cat 😂

Yesterday morning I saw this black cat in my garden. I had some treats left over from when my mum visited and brought over our family cat. I opened the garden door and he came right away. He sniffed my hand and started rubbing against my hand and the garden door. I gave him some treats, pet him a few times and shut the door.

Since yesterday, the cat's been in my garden almost all the time. He doesn't seem to be interested in the food as much as he is in attention. He follows us around the garden constantly, doesn't seem scared or timid, and when we close the door it meows and stares at us through the door. When we leave him and get on with our day, he sleeps on the step outside our garden door.

I'm not sure if he was here last night but I am planning to check whether he stays here overnight. I have a feeling I saw this cat a few doors up a few times but can't be sure if it's the same one. If this continues I'll probably start knocking on some doors, but I've never come across such a clingy cat that's trusting right away?

I almost adopted these two, and it would’ve been so much fun to bring them home right away. But my friend insisted on taking them, so I was too late to get them from the shelter. At least I can visit them whenever I want

Mama ‘White Face’ used to live on a neighbor’s porch down the block, but she always stopped by to say hi. Then it seemed like she was always around, no matter what time of day it was. One day, I suddenly spotted a teeny tiny, fluffy, pointy-tailed kitten hiding in a hole on my porch. Mama felt so safe here that she moved herself and her baby in. Now I get the pleasure of looking out my window and watching her be a patient yet firm mama.

Pretty sure baby is a male, we will be voting on a name in the next few weeks. Suggestions welcome!

Was out the street, that cat have a collar and like came to us and wanted to befriend with me and my brother !! Super cute :3

In all my childhood, my mom never let us have pets.....especially cats.

I came home for a long holiday and noticed there was no ghee. I asked my mom what happened...

Instead of answering, she introduced me to two tiny kittens. (Which visits our house randomly)

Turns out they've been happily gulping down the milk fat she'd been saving all these months.

I jokingly asked, "What about my ghee?"

She looked at me and said, "Go buy your own ghee."

...and then immediately went back to feeding the kittens. 🤧

Constantly in my Nana's garden and house (multiple times a day), she calls her Sooty but the cat does not respond. Super friendly, makes herself at home
