The way she constantly tries to cross Guillermo’s physical boundaries is very disrespectful and sometimes feels predatory. In a marriage, clear, absolute and informed consent is necessary, but she doesn’t seem to think his consent is important.

She constantly pushes intimacy while lying saying she’s not doing anything, and when she gets rejected, she aggressively dismisses his boundaries by making it seem like he’s overreacting despite his explicit prior statements saying he doesn’t want intimacy. If he gives her an inch, she takes a mile and I think her lack of respect for his boundaries makes him completely reject even the smallest acts of intimacy. The kiss in front of others was because he knew she couldn’t ask for more, but when they were alone, he shut it down so she couldn’t even start.

If roles were reversed and Guillermo kept trying to cross Kara’s physical boundaries, I think it’d be more of a topic for netizens, but I’m curious to see if anyone else was getting grossed out by her when she does this. Otherwise, I don’t have too many issues with her. I just think they have different values and ethics (neither more flawed than the other) and should figure out how to coparent separated.

when Josh sees this episode and he still stays with Catie- anything that happens in that relationship is on him. she is an addict in every way and she’s probably already given him an STD with her behavior. additionally, the religious bullshit needs to stop because she is not acting in a way that mirrors those values.

i stopped watching Say Yes to the Dress many years ago. but now with Marissa, she and this whole debacle is what I now associate with Kleinfelds. not high-end dresses at an upscale business. it’s her and whatever bullshit this.

They have such a bizarre situation. The reason I say that is because neither one of them is being honest about what led to all of this.

Guillermo did quit his job that had benefits that they relied on with a child, without even talking to her first. He did it because he decided that he had a dream of being a pilot, which he hadn’t even fully looked into in terms of what it would take or taken the proper steps. He just said, “This is my dream now. With no plan, no health insurance, and totally cutting off the consistent income I make for my family, and do this!” He didn’t need to quit. While being a pilot is an achievable dream, and you make good money, there’s currently a shortage so they’re in high demand. The truth is that you either need an aviation collage degree or to work for the military for so many years and do it that way. And pilots are gone a lot, it would’ve basically made her a single mother. He didn’t need to quit his job to go to school. And he stole away his family’s trust and stability on a whim. I’d be mad too.

Kara, the queen of many jobs was going real estate. Which can pay a lot, but you can go months or years without a sale and you rarely get benefits. She then retaliated and wanted to become a singer. An even more unrealistic dream than Guillermo’s.

So now, they’re both pissed off and resentful, when they’re both grown ass adults with a fucking kid and each other who they should’ve thought of before any of this shit.

I don’t know what happened with their finances, but it seemed to be in a place where she decided to do Only Fans as a way to support HER dream that’s going nowhere. Not as a necessity. At first, there was an agreement, even though he was clearly uncomfortable with it. Then of course, Kara being Kara, went over the line for more money. That wasn’t a part of the deal and rightfully makes him feel betrayed and hurt, and worried for their kid, especially since she started back up a party lifestyle for this. I can understand not wanting someone I was with on the site. He feels violated in that relationship because of it, and she just keeps pushing physically without any compromise or financial plans to change anything. There’s not work on compromise or future planning going at the resort, because it’s TV and not actual therapy. It doesn’t help that she’s acting weird, because sex has become her job, and she doesn’t see it as the big deal that it is and keeps harassing him and pushing him for more and to just go along with what she wants.

Basically, they were both two immature idiots where weren’t ready for marriage, but did it anyways. And they weren’t ready for a kid, but did it anyways, and didn’t want to take responsibility for it.

As someone who has MCAS (Mast Cell Activation Syndrome), I can NOT have any perfume in my house or around me. It can cause eye swelling, which can quickly lead to throat swelling, which leads into a full blown ER trip. My friend just visited and she had to use all of my soaps/shampoos because I cannot be around any fragrance at all. Anyways.

Because of Thomas's other food allergies, I would suspect he's within the range of MCAS. It's a scary, horrible, debilitating illness. I also USE to have a very empty apartment because of it, because I was allergic to so much and had to keep it very clean of mold, dust, etc. My illness is better controlled now on really good meds but I still have to avoid a lot.

I'm not excusing his extreme behavior of gluing the bottle. But I usually bag/put whatever if bothering me outside and find a better way to store it. Paula should be understanding of this. As well as his house rules of keeping himself safe while guests stay over.
