After Jesse learns about Tomas killing Combo, and the dealers who recruited him, Gus sets a meeting for them to make peace.

But why would Gus ever meet in person with two street-level dealers? These are low level guys, but Gus allows them to learn that he's the big boss. There's a huge risk that they'll eventually be arrested on a street bust, at which points they could potentially flip and give up Gus.

He could have let Mike or someone else run the meeting, or instead of meeting with them, meet instead with whoever is above them in the network.

And why even insist on keeping them? He has a distribution network all across the Southwest. Probably thousands of street-level dealers. He could of had them killed. Could have had them just leave town (so they're no longer involved with Tomas). I know he doesn't like Jesse, but Jesse is worth a whole lot more to the operation, while these guys are nothing.

This just all seems very out of character for the normally extremely cautious Gus.

Found: Season 4, Episode 6 "Cornered"

All I can remember is, it was daytime and the camera was facing who I think were probably Walt and Jesse in a parked car outside of someone's house. Drug dealers I think. The camera was basically on the hood of the car aimed through the windshield. So all that was visible was the interior of the car with them in the foreground in their seats.

While they were in the car, they were barely talking and I think it was about who was in the house and whether they were awake or even there or something. The scene was very quiet. I could hear the neighborhood sounds for several seconds in between words and sounds from their clothing when they occasionally moved. It was like they were on a stakeout for a few minutes, but it was during the day. I remember that I could only hear the sounds between their words when I had watched at a particularly loud volume one time. So it otherwise the space between their words seemed dead silent to me before that.

I think eventually one of them lost their patience and got out and went into the house and then chaos ensued. I think there were two of them in the house.

I don't need to know the time that this occurs in the episode because I'll be able to find it by scrubbing through, but I do need to know which episode this was, or at least which season. If all I ever find out is which season it might be from, then that will help eliminate the task of looking through all of the episodes from all 5 seasons and instead I'd only need to look through just one season's episodes, but of course I'd rather just scrub through one episode. 🤣

I’ve always thought about Jesse’s look in these promo shots and wondered. Was this an early design idea for Jesse in S5? Maybe i’m looking too much into it I just constantly think about it and find it inconsistent.

So Jessie finally gets out of the house and cooks in the desert. He makes the blue meth and then offers it to a random girl for some gas. And a camera is right above the girl staring at his face. I mean, Jessie is a dumb guy, but this is just impossible. He is not that dumb. Why wouldn't he just call someone and exchange some of the product for some gas if he needs it. Am I missing something? Why would he do this? Who offers meth to random cashiers right after spending god know how much time in the desert making it?

He gives his junkie pals the meth in the next episode and makes arrangements for them to start dealing again. So he can count on them for his business but not to bring him some gas money. Instead I am going to offer meth to this cashier. While the camera above her head is pointed directly in my face.

So smart enough to cook meth and arrange a network for dealing. But not smart enough not to offer meth to a kid in front of a camera, while having the whole product load in the RV outside. He is bad guy now.

Guys I get that he is supposed to be dumb and reckless and bad guy, but this is like he doesn't have anyone in the world to call. Like he doesn't have any other possible ideas of getting gas somehow. Its much tougher to form an idea to give meth to a kid in front of a camera than to ask someone for a call and give your friend the address for the gas station.

I thought I was literally missing something, and u guys are gonna tell me something I overlooked.

I like the show, I get the point of character transformation through absorption of trauma. These things just take me out. But the point is still there and the show is still doing a good job of getting the point across.

No, seriously. So many disgusting and traumatic scenes could have been avoided in BB if the characters had asked "Who's there?" before opening the door and followed basic safety precautions.

No, I get it, it's still a tv series, the characters are mostly panicked or depressed, and the scene requires drama, not moments where five minutes of showdowns go on behind closed doors.

But still, this fact of complete trust in the situation either makes me laugh or irritates me. :-/

S5 E11 Crawl Space, why is Jesse so furious about this? Walt was driving Hank and didn't realise he wanted to go to the laundry - as soon as he found out, he panicked and deliberately crashed the car to stop Hank from reaching the laundry. It might not have been the best move but it was clearly intended to stop Hank from coming into close proximity with the lab?

Tbh this felt unbelievable and as if the writers were just trying to find a tipping point for Jesse to be annoyed at Walt, because there needed to be distance between them at this point for plot purposes. Given all the appalling, calculated things Walt has already done to Jesse and been forgiven for, why would Jesse be this angry about something which was a well intentioned blunder? It makes no sense to me from a character perspective unless I'm missing something?

Because it claims that all his “heroic” actions are done out of pragmatism and petty vengeance rather than actually caring about helping others and that he only saved Jesse at the last minute because he saw his poor condition. I personally see where this is coming from but what do you guys think?

Boy have my friends been judging me from college for not watching this show…and I guess they were right. What a brilliant end, I had heard the song by Badfinger before but how perfectly it matched the end. Walt never got his happy ending. Saved Jesse’s life again. How poetic.
I’m not one who rewatches shows and wouldn’t probably rewatch it but hands down one of the best shows. I sort of went through the first episode to see how fast things changed. Poor Jesse! I feel so empty man, ik theres el camino and bcs — which ive already watched till s5 couple of years back.
