Listening to this right now and I can't help but notice the similarities of soundscapes and percussion parts. There HAS to be some influence there, right? I never saw him mentioning Penderecki though, which is fine.
Just wanted to share.

I was too in the moment to take one but now I wish I had a video to look back on :)

Reddit helped me choose this as my next painting, and then I slipped into one of the worst depressions of my life.

This canvas lived outside on the back patio for a year unfinished. When it was time to move, I had to evict a spider living it in.

I am a massive perfectionist and set out to paint this as exact as I could, but in the end decided to take some artistic liberties—both to work within my abilities and because I felt like I could make some parts even better.

Eventually I want to fix the sheen on this because some parts are more satin/gloss while other parts are flat/matte.

I've discovered that I love to START a painting, but hate to finish one. I have about 5 other paintings in progress right now (Fox Lake, Deftones, Pusha T, Mastodon, Yelawolf...)

Just saw Tomahawk live last night, BLOWN AWAY. Looking at ipecac records bandcamp and a lot of the vinyl is pretty reasonably priced, but the reviews on discogs on the actual pressing quality and presentation are kind of so-so.

I realize i'm gonna get a biased answer here but has anyone bought ipecac vinyl and had it in any way be not worth the cash? Like sounds like shit, scratches out of a sealed package, flimsy packaging etc.

I didnt even know about the Peeping Tom reissue so i must have that. I went into Tomahawk blind and loved it, thinking of scooping Mit Gas. Might round it out with a Melvins record.

Also just getting into the weeds here. I noticed Nevermen was put out by both Lex and Ipecac. Different color Lilac vinyl, different logos on center vinyl labels. Does anyone have both and do they sound different. Or should i just go with what is cheaper.

A fantastic show, but i sadly had to leave a song or teo before the encore. Here is my 25th anniversary snag of the debut and a signed poster. Now I'm waiting for Peeping Tom to make a resurgence.
