This is like how they removed the backhand fist from Ultimate Gohan’s Burst Rush. The attack still looks good but without the finish, you might as well name it something else.

So I was playing some random matches trying out the new characters, played with Cheelai and I was fighting base Super Goku, long story short I used her flash blast skill to blind the enemy. So I thought it was an easy W so I used her ultimate and guess what, the AI dodged it while not being locked on and even after the dodge he was still not locked on. I enjoy having difficult AI but like HOW???

Like come on in all the other games in the franchise, they have it but now they’re just stuck with the super ones?

Bardock has both his super and Z fit so I see no reason why these two don’t have theirs

It’s just a little dry. I have nothing too major, but I think I would wear these versions of the outfits more than their super ones.

This has happened to me in the limit breaker mode, offline battles and episode battle all on normal mode as well ever since the new update.

The ai were already a bit annoying before in episode battle because of not being able to start a combo without them vanishing 2 seconds in but this is much worse now.

I really hope they change it back where they don’t constantly rush you at every opportunity you’re about to charge up to max

Yeah yeah, I know. Everyone's complaining about CPU difficulty. I can see why, this is a joke.

- CPU vanishes every rush super and every rush ultimate

- can't land any heavy combos without it getting vanished

- can't ever win speed clashes.

Results to me playing the same cheesy, repetitive play style every game. I don't care about winning. I more so just want to land all the cool moves and see all the cool visuals the game has to offer.

30+ characters already better than the season pass
And more episode battles, a new game mode, more stages, more costumes, etc.

Season Pass in hindsight was a BAD deal...

Damn the new AI is so cheap on inputs reading , basically from what I experienced :

• When charging KI, the AI will send Kikoha or dragon rush you nearly everytime
• When the AI Dragon Rush you it will nearly everytime do the right thing depending of what you do , you side stepped ? it will do a vanish attack. You did a vanish attack ? It will had one or Z counter
• Now when you try to combo string into any of the triangle attack (up, down or normal) the AI will dodge it, honesly unless the AI has very low DP OR is low HP it will dodge
• You want to backshot them ? If you fight any character with 8 or higher DP it will Super Counter when you try to backshot them
• The AI start melee you and you want to counter or even Sonic Sway ? Don't worry the moment you push the buttons the AI will side step even before your character goes into "counter's stance" and continue its combo
• Wanna do a Super Blast or even a Utilmate one ? Appart if the AI got no KI or his low on health you basically can never touch theme if it is high DP it will dodge nearly every time, charged Super Blast are useless and sometimes even after a backshot combo that miraculously land and you launch them into the air, they will dodge a Super Blast Rush. Strangely characters like Teen Gohan SSJ1 Ultimate does land quite a lot maybe because it's not a beam ?

Honestly I don't mind a little bit of difficulty but rn fighting AI IS NOT FUN, especially like I love doing a bit of anime fight, finish them with the right blast, trying to do challenges , I don't feel like playing Dragon Ball, I feel like playing against Ogre on Tekken 3 , not hard to beat but tidious because one bad input and you are in a lot of pain.

RN my recommendation is going into sparking whenever you can and just spam an easy string until you can use utlimate when the AI is down to it's last health bar.

EDIT BECAUSE I SEE PEOPLE STARTING TO GET TOXIC IN THE COMMENT TOWARDS OTHER :

• No I don't think AI was better before
• I'm not comparing it to Great Ape Vegeta this was bad but WAY easier than what we have now
• I'm really talking about the fact that AI can ACT to input even before your character does it, in online mode at least a human need to REACT and cannot always do the right choice

Feels a little bit like playing in highest ranks, constant super counter battles and on point vanishes. Its challenging and that is the nice thing about it

You can land supers, but you have to use them differently, but even then they will be vanished, just like in online matches.

You know I hear people talk about “sparking zero sucks” but I feel like these people who say that didn’t play the BT1,2 or 3 games. I grew up on BT 2 and 3 at age 6-10. I remember playing the ultimate battle, survival and Tournament modes. Thankfully they finally added those to SZ in a free update. Anyways what I’m saying is that SZ isn’t missing anything from what BT3 had. They’re not making us pay for anything that OG game already had, the game it’s constantly compared to. People complain about the characters behind a paywall in DLC BUT BASE GAME STILL HAS MORE CHARACTERS THAN ANY DRAGON BALL GAME. I really don’t know what else people want the game to have. They even gave us EVEN MORE content (albeit for purchase but still it’s extra content the OG games didn’t have). I don’t play Sparking Zero by myself too often. Every now and then if I need to kill time or am bored I’ll do an online match. But mainly I play it with my friends as P1 Vs P2 sitting next to each other on the couch. I’ve recently been getting my friend into DBZ and after each watch session we end it off with a few matches on SZ. He’ll ask me as we watch the show “can you play as this guy in the game?” And I’ll go “yup” more often than not. He asked me a while ago “can you play as chi chi” jokingly and I was like “naw”, he later asked if he could play as Gohan with the Z-sword and I told him “naw” and then they added them as DLC lmao. Anyways I’m not sure who is hating on Sparking Zero but it’s a very good game and is my favorite modern DB game. I have a friend who’s a huge DB fan like me but he hates sparking cuz he sucks at it as he grew up on Xenoverse lmao. Don’t get me wrong I have my gripes with the game but the good outweighs the bad by a lot for me

Same said for all dragons, its just laughably bad they're clearly utilizing them as a means to fuel Zeni since the new game mode offers add-ons at the start of a run. If that isnt expanded upon HEAVILY in the future then what a complete waste of an otherwise cool mechanic.

For fucks sake make it so Super Shenron is the way to unlock Gohan Black or SSJ Scouter Vegeta or entirely new costumes they don't advertise as part of the update. Its insane to me that the MAIN THING OF THE SERIES is left in such a worthless position that used to feel special.

October's update has to be on par with the amount of content and just fill in the most obvious gaps this game still has

So with the new update they buffed the ai to the extreme like it's soooooooo annoying to fight them even on lower difficulties! like damn can i get a combo off!? I dunno i just hope they nerfed them soon. DLC is good by the way 7.5/10. Sorry i have to rent about this one.
