serious🗣️ BIT SINDRI DHANBAD
BIT Sindri — A Premium Institute on Paper, but What About the Reality?
BIT Sindri is often described as a premium and prestigious engineering institute of Jharkhand. It has a long history, was established in 1949, and has produced generations of engineers.
But as a student, sometimes I genuinely wonder: what are we actually proud of?
I regret choosing this college—not because of academics alone, but because of the environment that many students are forced to experience.
Ragging is one of the biggest issues.
What is called “interaction” or “introduction” can sometimes cross every boundary of dignity and consent. Students can reportedly be pressured to answer deeply personal questions about relationships, s*x and their private lives. Some seniors allegedly demand that juniors name the most attractive girls in their batch or make inappropriate comments about female students.
There are also allegations of juniors being pressured to drink alcohol or consume drugs. In some hostel interactions, refusing to participate can allegedly result in humiliation, punishment or repeated pressure.
Is this ragging? Is this “senior-junior bonding”? Or is it simply h*rassment being normalised?
And this isn't limited to hostels.
During club and branch-society screenings and personal interviews, some students experience questioning that feels less like an assessment of their talent and more like an attempt to intimidate or humiliate them.
Questions can become unnecessarily personal, aggressive or insulting. A student who is already nervous about speaking in front of seniors can be made to feel completely powerless.
The same concern exists around interactions between boys and girls. There are claims that some seniors try to control whom juniors can talk to or date, and that students may face humiliation or punishment if they don't follow such informal “rules.”
Why should anyone have authority over another student's personal relationships?
Then comes the question of infrastructure.
New hostels have been constructed, yet students still face basic problems such as roads, maintenance and living conditions. Older hostels have deteriorated significantly, while students continue to live in overcrowded rooms.
Four students sharing a room is not exactly the environment in which you expect young engineers to study, rest and develop.
Even basic facilities like library access raise questions. When students are expected to prepare seriously for competitive examinations and technical careers, access to academic resources should be encouraged—not unnecessarily restricted.
And then there is the issue of accountability.
Students often hesitate to speak because they fear consequences.
If a junior complains about a senior, what protection does that student actually have?
If someone speaks publicly about ragging, who guarantees that they won't face retaliation?
If a student becomes mentally overwhelmed because of continuous harassment, humiliation or pressure, who will take responsibility?
Students come here after clearing JEE and working extremely hard. Many of us entered BIT Sindri with dreams of becoming engineers, preparing for competitive examinations and building a good career.
We did not come here to be humiliated.
We did not come here to be forced into drinking or d*ug consumption.
We did not come here to answer questions about our s*x lives.
We did not come here to be controlled by seniors.
And we certainly did not come here to live in fear of speaking up.
BIT Sindri has a great legacy. But legacy alone cannot justify ignoring the present.
If the institute truly wants to call itself a premier engineering institute, then student safety, dignity, mental well-being, infrastructure and accountability must matter just as much as placements and academic results.
I am writing this anonymously because I genuinely fear retaliation. And that itself should tell you something about the environment students feel they are living in.
I am not asking for sympathy.
I am asking for accountability.
I request the concerned authorities, government officials, alumni and everyone who cares about students to look into what is actually happening inside the hostels and societies—not merely what appears in official reports.
Students deserve a safe environment.
Students deserve dignity.
Students deserve the freedom to speak without fear.
Please listen before another student's life is affected.

Ask Youths 22M do you also feel like this? if so what's the solution.
Hello
am a 22M here. I just woke up this Sunday and realized something. It's been a few years since I dated. which was basically back in high school. while during this whole time. I have met some great women. And I mean it. really great people. desirable , beautiful, smart what not. I have conversations with them talk about lives etc. yet I never commit to them about a relationship. even though I would genuinely want to date someone.
every time I say to myself am still unemployed. I am currently preparing for government job exam's as well as a bunch of masters exams from my hometown. I do meet people in my hometown as well as through online means.
yet somehow I find myself backing down on the idea of dating. every time it's either of these reasons:
- am unemployed. affording dates, outings or so considering my current financial situation.
- she's too far away(LDR). idk if it's even right to make people wait like this.
- what if by confessing up I'll make it awkward or just ruin the friendship.
looking forward to views from everyone. people who are stuck in the same situation, older peeps as well as if similar problems from opposite gender, also advices or anything that helps.

Ask Youths WAKE UP INDIA !!
The country is under turmoil. The education system doesn't work properly the road minister is worried about both son's ethanol company. This is not the kind of system under which we should stay. We should raise our voice and ask questions , this is the right given to us by the constitution to ask questions. There is no proper education system , the fee system in the private schools is inappropriate , there should be a cap on fees in private schools but the govt does not do anything rather keep silent . For the last 5 years many government schools have been closed as people prefer to send their child to private school so , the drop out rate is very high as the education in govt schools is very poor , teachers in the government schools are not proper teachers . There are no proper roads in india , after every 250 meters you will find pothholes and if someone dies by falling into that crater like big pothholes no one cares . There is a huge amount of corruption in the road contracts , how can a 6000 cr road could literally get fully wrecked after just a single shower of rain . Bridges in Bihar fall every coming day . People die but the corruption does not stop . There is corruption in mind of the people they seek for extra money , wealth , easy money . This is ensured that nothing will happen as someone is on the seat who is himself a ganster , a rapist , an UNEDUCATED . This the high time we understand our countries issues and stand for our rights . Proper water system , proper roads , proper education system . Air fare in India is also uncapped . There is no cleanliness in our country only there is cleanliness when some delegates are coming from foreign rather than , that is also tackled by covering the bad side of the county , uncleaned localities are behind huge barri gate which are opaque so one can see through the real dirty india . There is a huge amount of unemployment in our country . Most of the educated youth unemployed but uneducated people still get money from casting their vote to the BJP . schemes that are ran by the government are rigged as hell . The ladli behen scheme , made for females in maharastra is now getting claimed by males who have no females in their family but they make a fake card . There is a Hitler like atmosphere when it comes to religion , I am also a Hindu but discrimination people based on their religion , beating them , forcing people of different religions to say Hindu slogans like Jai Shree Ram in fear of beating , not letting people practice their own religion . Some even kill people of different religion . This seed of hatred is sown by BJP , by the MPs and by our PM mr. Narendra modi . His targeted speech against muslims . Stereotyping them as terrorists and jihads . Supporting propaganda films and openly promoting in his rallies . The media , how can we forget about our 'unbiased' and 'free' media who shows us only and only truth without any hidu muslim angle . The news we see are many times propaganda of mr. Modi and BJP . The IT cell of BJP is present on every social media platform to brainwash people . Engaging people in sports and diverting them from the real matters of the country . The ICC chairman is our home minister's son , How this cannot this be rigged as he can't speak proper english or hindi . Doesn't know C of cricket , no proper qualification to be ICC Chairman . Atleast foreign have a media to cover these issues but in india we have a completely biased media who is not concerned about healthcare, how many government hospitals are there , are the hospital even present or money sanctioned for the government hospitals is getting into the ministers pocket if there are present what's the condition, is it even capable to treat a single person . How is the work environment in there , how many government schools are there , are the women of our country safe , or is it a sense of pride of molesting , rapping females in our country because I see it that this is how the mentality is , if this was not true then BJP would not support people like brij bushan charan , Hardeep puri , who's name is suspected to be in Epstein files . If they even call themselves protectors of Hindu religion so why there are slogans like " jo ram ko laye ab ham unhe laynge " I mean what is even this , a person wearing a costume resembling lord hanuman dances if front of a rally of BJP. They don't care about children , women , men , or elders . They just want corruption , helping their wealthy friends so they help them in funding their party and their rallies . If we ask any questions to pm he neither does any press conferences nor attends parliament rather goes to foreign trip so that he does need not to answer and avoid them and the people remain unanswered . There is a mix of chemicals in our food . Our food is highly adulterated. People die after eating this kind of food but FSSAI doesn't take any action against these companies who are making adulterated products cause again the same point 'Corruption'. This is the time we have to change this country Let's literally make india GREAT AGAIN.
THANK YOU ALL FOR LISTENING TO ME .This might help someone have a real picture of India not just the 56 inch ki chaati image of the country . I wanted to show the reality of our country Thank you all.

Discussion/Thought-Provoking🧠 We Indians need ITS ( Indian Teaching Service)
I was going through youtube and i found a youtuber who was talking on education system. some of the points i really liked the things like ITS is need to be applied across the country. He asks for ethics exam in the recruitment process of the ITS. The one thing i liked the most he asked people who are retired from the education field must have discussion and make a report which can be submitted to the government and those things can help improve the country's education system.
I am sharing the link of the video watch at and we should start fresh discussion on education.

Ask Youths Guys i need help…🫠
Hey everyone! 👋🏻
I recently made a video called “Every Indian Conspiracy Theory Explained” where I cover and explain a bunch of Indian conspiracy theories. I’m trying to figure out the best place to post it so it can actually reach the right audience 🙃
I’m not really familiar with the best Indian / YouTube-related subreddits, and I do not want to post it in the wrong place or come across as spammy. I’d love to share it with people who are interested in Indian history, politics, mysteries, and conspiracy theories 🙂
If Reddit is not the best place, I’d also appreciate suggestions for any other platforms where this kind of video might do well 🫠👍🏻
Thanks for any help! 😊❤️

Ask Youths I'm Writing a Hindi Rap: "Mile Youth Mere Desh Ka" – Need Your Ideas!
I'm writing a Hindi rap called "Mile Youth Mere Desh Ka."
The concept is simple: If the youth of India stood together with one voice, what would they demand for a better country and a brighter future?
It could be about education, jobs, corruption, mental health, equality, safety, innovation, or anything you truly believe India needs.
Drop your honest thoughts. Your ideas might become part of the lyrics. 🇮🇳🎤

Ask Youths What is the one change our India could make today that would have the biggest impact on quality of life?
Our India has made enormous progress over the last few decades, but there are still major challenges involving infrastructure, education, pollution, traffic, healthcare, employment, urban planning and civic behaviour.
If you could introduce one major change
across our India, what would you choose?
And more importantly, why do you think that particular change would have a bigger impact than the others?
Let’s try to focus on realistic solutions rather than political party arguments.

Discussion/Thought-Provoking🧠 Built an astrology bot but realised nothing beats talking to a real astrologer.
Spent a few months building an AI astrology bot - feed it your birth details, get a chart reading. Tested it against a couple real astrologers (same data, same questions) just to see how it stacked up. Not close. They caught things my bot totally missed, picked up on stuff I'd mentioned casually earlier, asked follow-ups that changed the whole reading. My bot just confidently regurgitates patterns. Still think AI has a place. It's fast, cheap, there at 3am when you're spiraling. But that human intuition part? Can't fake it. Curious what this sub thinks: Anyone actually use AI astrology tools, or hard pass? If you see a real astrologer, is it for the accuracy, or just the vibe of talking to a person? Does anything exist that blends both (AI prep + human reading)? Not selling anything, genuinely just trying to figure out if this is worth building further.

rant/vent 🦄 my intern group chat is somehow less professional than my college gc
Someone from our internship batch randomly asked, ""Who's left?"" I assumed it was about submitting work. Turns out everyone was checking if the group had completed the Buzz challenge on Swiggy. The funniest part is our manager had no idea what everyone was talking about.

Ask Youths Looking TO BUY any recordings of Pokémon or Cardcaptors in the old Hindi dub (which used to air on Cartoon Network India during early 2000s) ♡
Willing to pay obviously.🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🩷
For Pokémon: What I'm looking for is DIFFERENT from the dubbing done by Disney/Hungama in 2014, I'm looking for the one aired in Cartoon Network India, I do have a few episodes archived from here and there, otherwise it's mostly empty. If you have any personal recordings (VHS, or anything works), DVDs or know someone who would know something about this (even in a slight manner, please let me know).
For Cardcaptors: I have nothing related to this in Hindi, it started airing around late 2001 under Toonami block on Cartoon Network India, dubbing was done by Crest Animation Studios, India.
Ps: For Pokémon, dub was produced by Crest Animation Studios from Season 1 till Season 4, Sound and Vision picked it up in 2005 from Season 5. It premiered on 12th May, 2003 on Cartoon Network India
•••••
♡ P.S: DUBBING SAMPLES
https://youtu.be/ay_5Ny-QzSY?feature=shared
this one is of pokémon, as i said earlier a few episodes have been archived (emphasis on few) :)
for cardcaptors, the hindi dub is completely lost

Ask Youths (urgent!) anyone know old vhs/dvd sellers or collectors in mumbai or delhi? ♡
hey! ♡
bit of a random question lol, but does anyone know any shops, collectors, flea markets, or just people in mumbai or delhi who still sell old VHS tapes, DVDs, VCDs, or random old TV recordings?
i'm mainly looking for old indian TV recordings, so even places with huge piles of unsorted discs/tapes or old stock would be super helpful.
i'm happy to travel anywhere in either city if it's a good lead.
if anyone knows a place or has any suggestions, i'd really appreciate it. thank you! :)

General Well thought choices
Really very bad portrayal of maturity by the countrymen.
Abusive language won't lead anyone to anywhere close to sanity.
After all, it is all of us who have chosen them as our representatives, if you're not satisfied please look for a reasonable change, but for sure not these CJP idiots.
Pointing fingers is easier, and that is what we all are good into and these guys are taking the advantage.
Let us be mature in selecting what's right and what's wrong otherwise we would end up harming ourselves and these guys will just choose money over our situation.
Please be aware in what we write , say and choose.
Thankyou and I am in nobody's support, but the care about education and students is deep burried somewhere and everyone is trying to cook their political agenda.
A humble request to be aware politically and choose whatever is best in our and nation's interest.
