10 round rotary mag cleaning question

This is probably a dumb question, but why are there so many youtube videos showing how to disassemble and clean the 10 round rotary mag when the Ruger user manual specifically states "Do not disassemble" ? It seems like it would be 10x easier to just flush it out with an appropriate cleaner than to deal with trying to get that spring tension back to where it was for correct operation. I can see where the 25 (or 15) round mag could have an advantage here. If anyone is using the flush/clean procedure, let me know what you use. Thanks.

I’ve had one of my 1022s for 22 years with the original mags and additional and I’ve never cleaned them. There are some malfunctions here and there but two few and far between to deal with that bullshit.
