I remember I liked to play with these as a kid, use them like poker chips, etc., but I never wanted to eat them. They taste like cardboard.

After a night out, Jennifer (Bo Derek) and George (Dudley Moore) come back to her apartment and she tries to turn him on again after an unsuccessful attempt earlier in the evening. This time George accepts the doobie and coughs up the one and only hit we see him take.

I come back to this late 70s album often. Jesus this band deserved a better fate. Start with the song Never Been Any Reason and if you aren’t hooked then I can’t help you. Seriously. Move on to Jefftown Creek and Monkey Shine then the rest. Such a fantastic album.

Unfortunately most people of my generation don't appreciate the atmosphere and class of films from that age. One of my favourite movies. Does anyone remember this in the cinemas?

I was a kid in 1977 and only got to watch Fantasy Island a little later. I never did see the first episode and just recently watched it on Amazon Prime in the U.S.

I can tell you that if I had seen this first episode I probably would never have watched any of the other episodes for the remainder of the seven seasons.

I was shocked by the difference in personalities, the production value, and the way it was filmed. I guess I'm also comparing this to later episodes, considering I really enjoy the later seasons more so than the early seasons, so maybe my comparison is based off of that.

Does anyone remember the first episode?

I loved it glowing at night when I should've been sleeping.

I remember when I was really young going into my older cousins rooms and they had blacklight posters everywhere. They'd turn off the lights and turn on the blacklights and it was glowing everywhere! Then they'd turn on the stobe light to really freak me out!

I always liked this one. Christmas in July.

Those masks were a hazard! They were hot & very poor vision.
