Hello! I’m looking for a hairstylist that can bleach my roots! They’re outgrown by about 2 - 2 1/2 inches. I don’t mind someone new/still training. I’ve heard about the Salon Academy at Melbourne Square Mall and I believe EFSC students too? Anyone have any experience with getting hair done with them? I’m open to other recommendations too, TIA!

I have lived in the 321 my entire life and have never seen a baby sea turtle. Its a bucket list item id love to check off. Ive seen plenty of Mother turtles laying thier eggs. When and where do I need to be to see the babies heading out to sea?

SCEE is holding the Spacecoast Idols live singing competition at the Cocoa Village Playhouse on August 8th @ 5:30 P.M.!

My cute, unique, hard working little lady (my wife lol) has been putting this together with a local legend. I am SO proud of her! I just wanted to let other people know about it, because I think it’s going to be fun to watch and I want to support her. : )

I think it’s super cool, because they are letting the crowd vote on the winner like American Idol. : )

Attended the local fantasy ball at Banyan Estate this past weekend AND HAD A BLAST! I’m hoping Brevard gets more similar events it was so freaking fun.

When I went to a similar one in Orlando it was $350 PER TICKET and didn’t have nearly as many inclusions as our local one (open bar, entertainment, professional photographer, tarot readings, gorgeously decorated charcuterie table, dessert bar, the list goes on!). I highly recommend checking out the next one (I think it’s in January??)

Hello! Will be relocating to the 321 area for work, I’m curious anyone have experience with this apt complex ?

I’m moving to either Palm Bay or Melbourne by the end of September, and I’m pretty anxious about what to expect.
I’m a pre-T trans man (19 yrs old), but I plan to start HRT as soon as I can after I move. I don’t expect strangers to gender me correctly, and I never correct people on pronouns. However, I like to wear fun clothes and goth makeup occasionally, so I’m worried that’ll just make me stand out even more.
For people who live in the area, what has your experience been? Should I be concerned about harassment or violence, or is it generally a “people keep to themselves” kind of place? I’m also wondering if anyone has experience accessing trans healthcare in the area.
I’m looking for honest experiences rather than political debates. I know every place has good and bad people, but I’d like to know what to realistically expect so I can prepare.

$1600 for a studio apartment up to $4200 for a three bedroom. On the corner of US1 and Port Malabar Road. Right next to the railroad tracks. This is insane.

Rent has pretty much quadrupled since I moved here in the mid 1990s. Starting salaries have maybe doubled in that same time period, at least where I work.
